Came in for dinner with friends. Ordered the chicken and lamb with pilaf rice and eggplant. The dishes were all very tasty with amazing texture. The chicken and lamb were very flavourful and tender. The rice was very fragrant and basmati perfectly cooked. The eggplant dish was also very flavourful. The bread was perfect also, crispy, soft and very moreish. Customer service was great, food came out pretty fast considering how busy the restaurant was and all menu items were very affordable considering the generous portion size. Definitely worth trying out.

Visited Kabul House in Merrylands recently. The service was impressively fast, which is always a plus when dining out. However, I found the food a bit pricey, especially considering the portion sizes—particularly the rice, which felt small for the cost. That said, the food itself was tasty and well-prepared, though there's definitely room for improvement in terms of flavor depth and overall presentation. With a few tweaks, it could go from good to great. Overall, a decent experience but better value and slight improvements in flavor could make it much more appealing.

Food was dry, overly salty, and clearly not fresh. The rice was especially bad — hard and almost plastic-like, and even the salad wasn’t fresh. What we received didn’t match the menu — the fish was advertised with sides but none were served, and the kebab came without tomato. When we later asked for tomato, they brought a burnt one, which just made things worse. On top of that, the spoon and glass were not clean, which is unacceptable. It was also quite expensive for the quality we got. We even ended up with stomach issues afterwards. Overall, a very disappointing experience — I won’t be going back.

Had dinner and it was amazing, great service, delicious meats and rice, perfect fresh bread and everything was seasoned so well including the salads and sauce on the side. Photo does not give it justice but will come here again. A new favourite

After a very long time I had really good Kabuli pulao — the taste was very similar to what I used to eat in Karachi - Pakistan. The dumplings are highly recommended fresh and yummy. The naan was perfectly baked. Wish I could have eaten it with nihari or qorma.
