A decent restaurant with tasty food. They have plenty of food options with reasonable prices. The only downside was the staff wasn’t that nice, she has to put a bit of smile when serving the customers.
Amazing service and food! Their mixed kebab plate with fresh bread is a 10/10 tender, juicy and healthy! Best value, fresh, authentic and delicious Afghan food!
I like to try different restaurants and meals. I have been to this restaurant three times now (once for a takeaway). I just love their fruity rice meals: I have also compared the same meal from a restaurant on the same street and the other was nowhere as nice as from this restaurant. My favourite, however, is their "Mantu" (steamed dumplings stuffed with lamb mince): absolutely awesome.
My Carer is from Afghanistan and thanks to her we had the most delicious Afghan food for lunch and all the dishes were cooked the traditional way. The staff English wasn’t the best that’s why I was lucky that my carer was able to communicate in afghan especially to explain my allergies otherwise wouldn’t have known what to order, even though the menu has some food photos and written in English. If you like spicy food that is full of flavor and you’re in the Merrylands area then I highly recommend this restaurant. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned because it was towards the end of lunchtime but the staff were prompt and happy to service us. All round it’s a great authentic Afghanistan restaurant!
I really don't know why Kabul sydney doesn't get the same publicity as Kabul house, I come here all the time if it's afghan cuisine. Kabul house serves their dishes like pumping out products without good care compare to here. The family owned business is very friendly with generous prices which haven't changed much in portions along with unlimited commentary sauces. We love their mixed kebab dishes for $25 that comes fresh hot oven bread with salad. Don't be afraid to try another restaurant for a change, I'll definitely recommend 💯 deliciousness !!
