This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the atmosphere lovely, and the service very good. It can be a bit noisy, but we still had a great time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different!
The most delicious food I ever had for entree to mains to desert. The variety of cuisine, from south African to SriLankan, Malaysian n cushion. Seriously you will not regret eatting here. Their wine list is great too. Will be back. My friend who bought us here has dine here since 2002.
Wow! Radio Cairo was recommended to me on a Sydney gluten free facebook community page because I was visiting Sydney from inter state. Following that recommendation was an brilliant choice. The meal we had was phenomenal. The pork ribs, chicken lollipops, lamb, potatoes and rice were all top notch. Fabulous gluten free options. Service was at the highest standard. I wish I could visit this restaurant all the time!
While searching for the perfect place to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, I happened upon Radio Cairo in Mosman. Browsing the menu, I was intrigued to find several dishes that echoed familiar Sri Lankan flavours, albeit presented with a creative twist. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and found the restaurant lively and full of energy. The décor draws on Sri Lankan, African, and broader Asian influences, creating a warm and eclectic atmosphere. Service was prompt and attentive—we were quickly seated, and our order was taken without delay. To start, we chose the tandoori baby octopus and the beef keema roti. Both dishes were outstanding, rich in flavour and beautifully prepared. For mains, we selected the fish and clam molee and the Moroccan lamb fillets, which were equally impressive. We finished with the gula melaka for dessert, a fittingly delicious end to the meal. As someone of Sri Lankan heritage, I appreciated the subtle but unmistakable flavours woven into the dishes, even when presented under less familiar names. It was a memorable dining experience and a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. Radio Cairo delivered both exceptional food and a vibrant atmosphere—an unforgettable afternoon.
Recommended by a colleague who lives north of the bridge as I never cross the city. What a great restaurant! They are so passionate about their food, they have new specials every day, we really loved the Cajun soft shell crab and lychee martinis. Will be recommending to anyone else crossing the bridge ;)
