We’ve been coming to Lone Star at Nepean River for a while and the food is always amazing! The quality and consistency never disappoint, and it’s one of our family’s favourite places to eat. A special thank you to Jess, who has always been so warm, friendly and attentive to our family. Her customer service is exceptional and she always makes us feel welcome. It’s staff like Jess that keep customers coming back. Our son absolutely loves the steak and ribs and always gets excited when we come here. It’s great to have a restaurant the whole family genuinely enjoys. Highly recommend this restaurant for great food, a lovely atmosphere and outstanding service!

The Nashville chicken burger was pretty good. I’ve had some really good ones so I’m comparing to the ones I’ve previously had from such places as Wing Shack in Kings Park. It was still good but the chicken could have been crispier. The fries were good. Our server, Steven, was excellent. He is what made it a great experience. The atmosphere overlooking the Nepean river was nice.

Honestly thought all the Lone Stars has closed down but glad to see there are a few around still. Service is super friendly and prompt. Nice sheltered outdoor seating with a fire pit and large indoor area. We didn't really like the pasta or burger but certainly big and generous with meat. Many options for different budgets. Weekdays lunch specials look good too.

We had a great experience with the food—everything was delicious, and the ribs were especially tender. The ambience was lovely, with great music, and the service was quick and friendly. However, our biggest concern was our table (Table No. 34), which was extremely sticky. It was very uncomfortable, to the point that my daughter was itching her legs throughout the meal. This made it difficult to fully enjoy the dining experience. While I’m not sure about the condition of other tables, I strongly urge the management to check and ensure proper cleaning. Because of this issue, I can only give a 3-star rating. While the food and service were good, an unpleasant seating experience can overshadow everything else. The drinks could have been better, but that wasn’t a major issue. Please address this concern, as it significantly impacts the overall experience. Thank you!

me and my husband had dinner here for our 12 year anniversary. We had been a few years ago which we had a great time and loved the atmosphere and the staff. This time was not great. There werent very many customers, but we felt like we were forgotten, as we had ordered drinks and they didn't come out, and then got asked if we had ordered drinks which was about 20 minutes later. the meal was very average which was disappointing. There was about 6 people on front of house which just seemed like too many. The drinks were nice which was the only part we enjoyed. Over priced for the food that was served to us. Customer service needs improving.
