Went to this location with a small group of friends for the first time. The service was pleasant, the location clean and bar a nice centrepiece. The food itself came out nice and hot, fairly quickly especially considering the busy lunchtime we visited, the food was for the most part tasty but averagely portioned and priced a bit on the steeper side. The drinks, the corn and the seasoned wings were the top faves. The pasta dish notably was much smaller than expected and looked sad in comparison to everyone else's meal. The burgers looked great but were a little bland in taste, portion size average, especially for how much they cost. Drinks however were priced quite well and competitively, so we made sure to get a variety. The booth feels a little crowded for a group of 4 with different meals. Conveniently, there are bathrooms located on the premises and staff were very helpful and friendly. Would visit again but probably not too frequently as I feel it's more of an experience than a regular dinner and drinks hangout.
The classic ribs are always a must-get! Fries were absolutely delish with the perfect texture! Coleslaw was yum as well. Onion rings were good but not amazing. Alfredo pasta with chicken and prawn is a skip for us. It didn’t have much flavor and the texture of the pasta was overcooked and wasn’t al dente. Their lemonade is very refreshing! Will be back for their ribs again and will try other food items too!
The restaurant is located on the cinema level inside Macquarie Shopping Centre. This time I went with my kids, and from Monday to Thursday, children can get a free meal—*as long as* you order a main meal. The food quality is excellent, and because the kids’ meal was free, it felt really worthwhile. However, if you don’t get a free kids’ meal (for example, if the promo conditions aren’t met), then the prices can feel a bit on the expensive side. As long as this promotion is still running, I’d be happy to go back.
Review is solely for half price Wednesdays rib rack haha. The ribs were 10/10! Caramelised and crusty on the outside and tasty with the whiskey sauce. Fries were also well seasoned and crusty - one of the better fries we’ve had in awhile. Mac & cheese was simple but provides a good ‘wet’ side to the main so it doesn’t feel too dry. Only downside of the whole meal was the rib’s salad - it was baddd. As a person that liked veggies and salad, this salad was really not yummy in any way, which is a bummer cause it’s the only veggie for the meal. Rating this visit a 5 stars cos price is good when half price ($26 for full ribs). But honestly, looking at the rest of the menu, we probably wouldn’t come here to eat anything else cause everything else seems $5-10 more expensive than a regular restaurant for rather standard dishes which didn’t look particularly appealing.
The atmosphere is great — it really feels like being in the U.S.! 😄 The lunch specials are reasonably priced, and especially on Wednesdays — half-price pork ribs and amazing happy hour cocktails! I went there with my kids for dinner on October 8th, and we were very satisfied with the meal.
