We visited D’s Bar and Dining over the weekend for dinner. We arrived around 6pm when it was still quiet, and by 6.30pm the crowd started building. For entrees we ordered the Prawn Toast Caviar and the duck bao. For mains we had the Wagyu Noodles, The D’s Fried Rice and the Kungpao Chicken. We also had two cocktails which were tasty and well made. They usually serve the pork belly bao, but since it was sold out we were offered the duck bao instead. The Kungpao mock chicken on the menu is a vegetarian option, but the kitchen was able to prepare it with real chicken. If there are items you want to try, the staff can mix and match, so it is worth asking. The food was very tasty, generous and unique. For my wife and I the standout dish was the Prawn Toast Caviar. It had a crisp bite, a warm prawn flavour and a smooth salty finish from the caviar that made it very enjoyable. Even though we arrived early when it was not crowded, the food took a little time to come out. However, we did not feel it that much since the atmosphere was very lively and enjoyable. They have a live jazz band that starts playing around 6.30pm, which adds a nice touch if that is something you enjoy. The staff were friendly, attentive and provided great service. There is plenty of free street parking on the side roads, only a short walk from the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended!

We visited on a weeknight. The atmosphere is pleasant, jazzy and relaxing. Warm and kind service. Entrees are presented fancy. Flavour bursting each bite. Blown away. Had the pho tartare. Cannot go past toothfish when it’s on the menu. It did not disappoint. Paired spectacularly with miso. Wagyu noodles hearty Signature fried rice most suitable for seafood lovers. Duck salad appealed to me but maybe not the kids. Finished off with fried ice cream and crème brulee Most enjoyable experience. Flavours are Pow Pow!!!

I had a pretty disappointing experience. The menu looked promising at first, but the prices felt way too high for what was actually served. The food itself was decent at best, definitely not worth the cost. On top of that, the service was frustratingly slow. We were left waiting far longer than expected just to place an order, and it didn’t improve from there. It really took away from the overall experience.

A lovely dining experience with a beautiful fit out, great ambiance and delicious food. Live jazz was really nice and made the experience special. Recommend ordering the kingfish and the wagyu noodles. Their cocktail menu is unique and delicious. Service was kind and attentive but at times felt rushed. Highly recommend and will be coming back

Overpriced food — one T-bone costs $23 per 100 grams, and they serve you 200 grams on the bone. Nonsense. It wasn't even cooked properly; the meat was chewy and tough. Pork belly, miss flavour, wagyu skewers were good, but the sticky rice wasn't enough. Service was okay. But sincerely I don't recommend this place to eat. You can find another 100 restaurants that are much better in the area. Not recommended 😕
