I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant tonight. When my number was called and I went to collect my order, the cashier asked for my receipt. I told her I'm just collecting my order that was called ready to collect. To my surprise, she shouted at me, saying she needed to see the number on the receipt in a very rude manner. I was literally reaching for my food when she shouted at me, which was completely uncalled for. The way she asked for the receipt was beyond rude, and her attitude toward customers is honestly terrible- with an attitude that made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. The food itself was okay, but the service completely overshadowed it. No customer should be treated like that. If this place wants to keep customers, they seriously need to train their staff in basic respect and professionalism. If you are the owner, you are ruining your business. I definitely won't be coming back.
Big bowl, big bucks… and even bigger disappointment. Service came with attitude, our waiter had the charm of a parking inspector on a hot summer day in Cronulla. We were seated next to what looked like a tribute shelf to dust, which really set the mood. 🕸️ Then came the soup… featuring a surprise long black hair. Nothing says “fine dining” like an unexpected game of find the follicle. SAFE to say, appetite = gone. 🤢 The food itself? Generous portions, sure but it felt like the kitchen is competing in a “how much can we serve ASAP” contest instead of “how good can this taste.” 👅 Would I come back? Only if I develop a craving for dust, mystery ingredients… and a side of emotional resilience for our charming waiter. ⭐️
I'm going against most reviewers here. Great healthy food at a very reasonable price. $14.50 in April 2026 for a big bowl of soup. It's an Asian restaurant in a shopping centre. It's never going to be fine dining with a full service experience. They achieve their aim of cheap yummy healthy food. I will be back.
This place offers customizable hot pot and dry pot. The ingredients are always fresh, and there’s a great variety to choose from. They also have both spicy and non-spicy soup bases to suit every palate. I especially appreciate the short wait time and the consistently friendly, efficient service. Whether you’re a fan of bold Sichuan spice or prefer something milder, Big Bow delivers a satisfying, flavorful meal every time. They also have extra sauces for anyone who wants more flavour than what their soup base has. Tip: to suppress the spiciness I tend to drink icy drinks or Boost at the same time.
Very interesting place, can choose the food by yourself. Come here a lot! Try every flavour! And my favorite are laksa and tomato soup, tasted so yummy and very suitable for the no spicy person. Also the staff is very nice will help you explain every confuse. The chef is very kind and handsome would like to come here everyday for him ^^ highly recommended!!
