The place has a nice atmosphere and cosy nooks and booths to sit at. Some of the staff were friendly, others not so much. The food was bland and I'm sure we didn't get what we ordered, as the food were missing components described on the menu. We arrived at 8pm and kitchen close at 9 so there should be plenty of time to order, specially because we ordered quick entrees. We ordered the Orange miso ora king salmon with finger lime and wasabi tobiko, but there was no flavour to the dish. No heat from the wasabi, no salt, no citrus from the few fingerlimes scattered around. Then we got the Smoky bay pacific oysters with yuzu mignonette and eschalot. As you see on the pictures, it was just the oysters with a chili dip next to it. No yuzu mignonette of any kind. Did the chef forget? Not sure what was going on. The crispy honey prawns were nice. Dessert was Mango coconut cream on sago, with star fruit, berries and pistachio floss. Look at the picture, where is the star fruit, the mango was melted and foamy and I got a pile of micro/baby sprouts on top of a dessert instead of the pistachio floss. I had high hopes, but can't recommend this place. The local Chinese restaurant around the corner is the same if not better, minus the ambiance and high price tag.
Took my wife here for dinner. Really good service and the food was tasty. Atmosphere was great for a date night as well and not over crowded. We ordered the 9-tasting platter. The selection was great however found the price pretty expensive for the quantity of food. Was $100 each person. We will go back to try off menu next time. Cheers
Located in Campbelltown Catholic Club, Level 1/20-22 Camden Road, Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I had a lovely meal here today. I had always wanted to give this restaurant a try and finally got the chance today. I had Prawn Ha Gow Dumplings, Maremma Duck Pancakes and the Special Fried Rice. Each dish was absolutely delicious 😋. Couldn’t fault them. It’s a beautifully designed restaurant creating a very elegant atmosphere. You know from when you first enter that this is not going to be an inexpensive experience. My meal along with a soft drink was $53.00. I didn’t mind because the food was amazing. The staff were very professional, welcoming and attentive. I would definitely recommend visiting here and would love to come back if I got the opportunity. Thumbs up!! 👍👍
Good food, portions are adequate and nicely prepared, spiciness has been reduced, so if you like a bit of zing, you need to let the waitstaff know. Lovely interior, shame they are somewhat limited to cater for larger groups due to their incompatible tables.
Our first time here was wonderful! We had the beautiful Vanessa serve us, she was professional, prompt and so friendly even while understaffed. The food was also so good! We will definitely be back! Thank you especially to Vanessa for making this such a great experience for us :)
