Despite the authenticity of this Bun Bo Hue dish, the slow service, bad air flow and dirty slippery floors really diminished my dining experience here. Only 1 lady taking your order and another aunty helping with cleaning the tables and bringing the food. Even with big ceiling fan, the shop was quite hot and steamy while I was there. The noodles soup is authentic, full of flavours, delicious toppings with a generous portion. Next time I would just rather get takeaways.
Maybe should of stuck with the noodles, but tried 3 street foods and didnt like any of them. The rice cakes banh beo chen was ok. Liked that the most of the 3. But banh bot tasted burnt for some reason and just like crunchy prawn shells, and the banh cha was the worst we had anywhere, very disappointing, didnt finish it and feel a bit off afterwards.
The Bun Bo Hue was genuinely delicious and full of flavour. The dining area, however, was quite hot with limited airflow, which made it less comfortable. With better ventilation, this place would be an even better spot to enjoy a meal.
Bánh bèo is really good, easy to eat. Bun bo Hue is not bad, a bit salty. Overall it's good food and I may come back for the banh beo and try mi quảng
The place presented their food exactly how they named their shop in Vietnamese ‘ Ăn là ghiền’ ~ Addictive from the first bite. The bun bo hue was excellent, light yet flavorful broth with just the right balance. The service was lovely, and the side dishes like banh bot loc and banh beo were also very well done. Don’t miss the dried chillies , it adds a great kick. Love this little place very much!
