Fresh noodle with clear soup which just what I needed. I can taste the soup is made out of bone not msg like most shops do now. Lamb skewers are nice surprise, best combination with the noodle ! Will comeback for sure ❤️
Was in need of a hot broth soup today as it’s been cold up in the hills for the past few days. Stumbled upon this noddle house in castle mall shopping centre. Pretty decent pricing. Had set D with the classic beef noodle soup, tea egg, side and Coke Zero for just over $20. I read some of the negative reviews and I get what they are saying as they are comparing their soup to well established Lanzhou noodle shops which have a lot more flavour in the broth but these guys don’t add any artificial additives as per their merchant promise. I really enjoyed the soup. It came out piping hot, noodles were spot on, beef not chewy and flavourful with some chilli oil, nice garnish and it was complimented well by my beef side salad. Egg was delicious. Perhaps they had a bad day when other reviewers tried their noodles but today it was sensational and I was not disappointed at all. No need to travel far for this sort of meal anymore. Win.
1st review - Ordered braised beef noodles and fried dumplings. Beef was really good and tender but noodles a little chewy and lacks taste. Couldn’t finish it; may partner had to douse with chili oil to eat it. The dumplings were good but wasn’t plated aesthetically; just dumped on the plate. Could do better.. 2nd review - came here again. This time I couldn’t even eat the food. It’s a noodle house so please don’t try the rice. I ordered pork rice but it’s so salty that I couldn’t eat it at all. EPIC FAIL!!!!
First time there today and not that attractive. Service is quite off the mark. Noodles are not good, quite sticky, soggy and over boiled. The beef’s are fatty (see photo), and oily.
One of the nicer beef noodles I’ve had! Very happy with finding this little shop in a small food court. Clean tasty broth, al dente noodles and the portion size is huge!
