Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Every dish blew us away. The menu is made up of beautiful small sharing plates, and the steak was easily one of the best-flavoured we’ve had in Sydney. Exceptional food, great atmosphere, and fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!!
If you’re chasing a seriously satisfying meal, this place absolutely delivers. We chose a selection of starters/sides, a steak, and finished with the honey cake - it was pure perfection - everything! We ordered bread, potato wedges, figs, Mooloolaba prawn cutlets, garlic prawns pot, scotch steak, salad, Russian honey cake. The steak was the absolute highlight. It was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavour, melt-in-your-mouth. They know exactly what they’re doing with their cuts of meat. The whole experience felt indulgent in the best way—great food, generous portions, and the kind of dinner you keep thinking about afterwards. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a proper treat.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Very attentive servers, steaks took a bit to come out but they were definitely worth the wait. Scotch fillet was medium rare cooked beautifully, brisket a touch on the drier side, short rib was the standout. The corn sides were a surprise packet. Great experience overall!

Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, clearly showcasing high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Every course exceeded expectations, and it was evident that great care goes into both the menu and execution. Overall, 20 Chapel delivered an unforgettable dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special.
Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. While nothing was bad, none of the food stood out particularly. The scallops were the best of the small plates, and the pasta was the nicest of the entrees. The Sirloin was delicious, but the wagyu was just ok. None of the sides particularly amazed. The honey cake was decedent and the soufflé light and refreshing.
