just had breakfast here after bondi to coogee walk. fantastic place. staff is friendly plenty of place to sit with street view. good vibe. food price is on expensive side but considering the location, it is okay.

Absolutely love LJH! We (Coogee Chamber of Commerce) hosted our International Women’s Day event here, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly special. The setup was impeccable, and BJ, Paul, and the entire team handled every detail seamlessly, from sound and layout to ensuring the breakfast and coffee were spot on. We had around 50 guests, and everything ran like clockwork. The front-of-house and kitchen staff were warm, organised, and delivered everything right on time. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious, and the care and attention to detail really stood out. The photos turned out beautifully, and the whole morning felt effortless and perfectly executed. I’ve had the Avocado & Feta on Toast at Little Jack Horner twice now, and it’s been absolutely delicious every single time (I highly recommend). The flavours are impeccable — perfectly balanced, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite is packed with goodness, and while I’m always a little sad when I reach the end, it leaves me feeling nicely full and completely satisfied. The coffee is fantastic too — consistently great and the perfect accompaniment to breakfast. Combined with the lovely location and relaxed atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you can happily spend a morning catching up with friends or simply enjoying some time to yourself. The service is just as impressive as the food. Paul is an absolute gem — such a lovely human. Always super friendly, welcoming, and smiley, making every visit feel special. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers both outstanding food and genuinely warm service, but Little Jack Horner does exactly that. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back for a third time (and many more after that!). ❤️🍳🥑

Dropped in for brunch today after being seduced by this venue’s outdoor tables overlooking the beach on a beautiful sunny Sydney morning. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with convenient QR code at the table for ordering and payment. A nice range of breakfast options and we opted for scrambled eggs with sides of bacon & mushrooms along with the egg & bacon roll. Food didn’t take long to arrive and it was fresh, delicious & generous serving sizes. Tomato relish in the roll was delicious & the egg was cooked to perfection for my taste. Coffee & hot chocolate were really good too. Service is efficient and friendly here with very attentive and professional staff. Given the “tourist trap” nature of Coogee and the prime position of this restaurant I had low expectations but we were absolutely delighted with our meal. Venue is highly recommended!

We had the chicken skewers and both the fish and chicken tacos, absolutely amazing! The flavors were fresh and well-balanced. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Only downside: no coffee available, which was a bit of a letdown. Otherwise, a great spot & we’ll definitely be back!
