Hands down the best gluten-free bakery I’ve ever visited anywhere in the world. As a lifelong coeliac, places like Sebastian Sans Gluten mean so much more than just somewhere to buy food. I still remember my first visit years ago, I genuinely cried tears of joy. To walk into a bakery and know that everything is safe to eat without fear or compromise is something only another coeliac can truly understand. I’ve been coming here for years, and over that time Sebastian, his family, and the wonderful team have become more like friends. They are some of the kindest, most passionate people you’ll ever meet, and their dedication shines through in absolutely everything they do. The food is phenomenal. Whether it’s pastries, bread, cakes, or sandwiches, everything is made with incredible care and tastes every bit as good (if not better!) than traditional bakeries. What really sets Sebastian Sans Gluten apart, though, is the way they champion the entire gluten-free community. They don’t just run an amazing bakery, they actively support other gluten-free businesses, promote them, collaborate with them, and go above and beyond to lift up the coeliac community as a whole. That generosity and passion are rare and deserve to be celebrated. Thank you for creating a place where people with coeliac disease can experience the simple joy of walking into a bakery without fear. It has meant more to me than you’ll ever know. ❤️

I’ve had a non-coeliac gluten intolerance for years, and ever since Sebastien Sans Gluten opened, it’s been my number one place for pastries. Whether I need a little pick-me-up, want something special for a birthday or celebration, or just feel like treating myself, this is always where I go. The weekend specials are honestly one of the highlights. They always look incredible and have me wishing I lived closer so I could pop in every weekend before they sell out! Even when it’s busy on weekends and there’s a queue out the door, don’t let that put you off. The line moves surprisingly quickly, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. The front-of-house staff are always so friendly and patient, especially when you’re trying to decide between all the amazing pastries. They’re happy to explain everything, and you never feel rushed. It’s also so lovely seeing Sebastien come out to greet customers and check in with everyone. You can tell he genuinely cares about his products and the people who come through the door. Before finding Sebastien Sans Gluten, I’d accepted that gluten-free pastries were just going to taste like cardboard. I genuinely didn’t think gluten free could be this good. Every pastry is beautifully made, flaky, buttery, and you’d never know it’s gluten free. Thank you for bringing a little piece of France to Sydney that is safe for us gluten-free folk! 🥐🇫🇷

Absolutely worth driving across Sydney to check out. The service was great, the food was exceptional. I haven’t eaten pastries this good in decades, let alone gluten free! This just proves you can make gluten free food tasty, well at least Sebastien can. Even if you’re not GF i can’t recommend it highly enough. The lemon meringue tart was possibly the best I’ve ever tried (GF or not). I can’t wait to try the pies i bought frozen. I’ll definitely be making the trip more often now I’ve tried it 😁

This place is ALWAYS worth the hour drive to get there on a weekend morning. Whether it’s the best eclairs I’ve had (gf or regular), a weekend one off special or a special occasion, it’s always coeliac safe, delicious and worth the trip. We choose to takeaway and usually within 10 minutes we’re debating going back for more lol The team are always busy but kind and efficient! Thanks for everything guys. You make being a coeliac easier and bring joy every time.

Fantastic visit to Sebastian Sans Gluten. My pain au raisin was delicious and flaky, and the coffee excellent too. I was lucky enough to chat with Sebastian - he’s constantly striving to improve his unique offerings. I also tried the sugary palmier. Now THAT is the perfect flaky crunch next to a coffee. I confess I couldn’t finish it on the day. Let’s just say, the office desk next day was awash with delicate flakes, and I couldn’t have been more pleased.
