We had our engagement party at Marcel Bar & Bistro in their private dining room and it was honestly perfect. The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing, and the team really went above and beyond to make the night feel special. Everything ran so smoothly and we felt so well looked after. Couldn’t recommend it enough for a special occasion!
We had dinner at Marcel and had a wonderful time. The ambience is inviting and the tables are appropriately spaced. We ordered the zucchini flowers, tuna, beetroot carpaccio and burata for our entrees and all were fantastic in their own way. We ordered the risotto as a main meal. It was delicious however quite salty, assuming due to the miso - it was quite overwhelming after some time, and could not finish it. I would still order it next time and request a little less salt/less miso if possible. The chocolate fondant for dessert was delicious.
Pearl in the bar is a real asset to this place she's knowledgeable , pleasant and makes customers feel special and a welcome guest. Cameron also works in the bar and is every bit as professional and efficient. What a great place for that special quiet experience away from the usual grind . I would recommend this place and will return again as I have returned several times already.
The experience was awesome everyone was so lovely and the food was delicious! They even went out of their way to make a small birthday dish for my partner to make it special !
Nice bar in the restaurant. Tables need white table clothes given it’s meant to be Penrith’s fanciest restaurant. When I first started going there the food was really really good. Now it’s not as good the lamb needs to be slow cooked for many more hours, sent it back they happily gave us another one. No point in that as it was okay but clearly microwaved. Slow cooked lamb should melt in your mouth it did not. Definitely not Boston Mon Cur. The king fish was ordinary lacked flavour, personally I have had better. The gnocchi was very very good and the salad was nice but a bigger serve very small. Service is always excellent there wait staff are lovely. You only have a small menu not hard to get it right with the right chef. Thank you for great service.
