Food was pretty mid for the price - honestly think it's overpriced. On top of that, we had to eat on the lounge seating, which was quite uncomfortable for a proper meal. For starters, we ordered the calamari, arancini, and truffle fries. Out of the three, the truffle fries were definitely the standout. For mains, we shared the fish taco, cauliflower taco, linguine alla puttanesca, prawn Maldives, and the sirloin. Overall, the food was just okay. I'd recommend ordering a few small plates to share rather than having a full dinner, especially since the venue doesn't have proper dining tables - most of the seating is at high tables or on lounges or unless there's other area I wasn't aware of. The cocktails were also average. I tried the Martini, and we also had a few shots. The bartending experience seems to depend on who you get, some bartenders were friendly and engaging, while others weren't. The floor staff were great though. Overall, it's a great place to relax and to start your vibe weekend, have a few drinks, and catch up with friends, but I wouldn't choose it as a destination for dinner. The atmosphere is definitely stronger than the food.

After having a horrific experience at Cargo Bar with our booking, we came across Bungalow 8 to have dinner which was the best decision we had ever made! When arriving, the waitress said the only table they had free was right in front of the DJ but we all said that was fine and didn’t care where we sat. My parents and I were just after a hearty pub meal with good vibes which is exactly what we got and more! The drinks were amazing and the food was to die for! We went here on a Saturday night so it was fairly busy with club vibes but both me and my dad had the best time vibing with the DJ. My mum enjoyed the food too but had to move seats as the people at the table behind us kept going over my mum to talk to their friends which she found annoying but hey I guess that’s just Saturday nights for you and in no way did that disregard the service we received! I am 110% coming back here again!!!

I dined here on the evening of February 16th, 2026, which was Lunar New Year. Because I was very hungry, I ordered a sharing plate for myself. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too crowded, so it wasn't noisy, and the music was pleasant. The harbor is right next door, creating a great atmosphere.

Thankyou so much Bungalow 8 for an unforgettable night. Our daughters 18th birthday was amazing!! Food, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic. The location is stunning. Gee worked so hard in the lead up and on the night to make for a stress free celebration. Highly recommended

We popped in for a quick drink and a snack. Loved the vibe! The Halloween decorations were fun, and the atmosphere was chill. Drinks were on point, and the chicken wings were tasty and juicy. The only miss was the calamari, which was a bit too dry and didn’t feel very fresh. Still, a great spot to hang out and I’d definitely come back to try more!
