Went to House Bar just after they’d opened, killing time while waiting for friends before heading out on a boat. The gentleman behind the bar on Saturday morning (17/01) was incredibly welcoming, kind, and patient, nothing was too much trouble (and it genuinely took me about 10 minutes to decide on a drink). When my friends arrived, they agreed the service was lovely too. I started with an espresso martini, then tried a few sparkling options, everything was great as were my friends drinks 😊 Such a nice way to start the day.

Incredible spot for anyone in Sydney! Mark, Berny and Shane created an incredible experience from the moment we walked in. Assisted us in choosing the right drinks for our vibe and made the whole experience memorable. Definitely a must go if you’re looking for great cocktails and service!

House Bar at Barangaroo is one of those rare gems that perfectly captures what Sydney’s waterfront lifestyle is all about. I only had time for a short visit, but even in that brief moment, I was thoroughly impressed by the location, atmosphere, and overall experience. Set right on the edge of the harbour, the views are stunning—whether you're watching the ferries go by, enjoying the sunset over the water, or just taking in the buzz of the promenade. The space has a laid-back, open-air feel that’s perfect for both casual drinks and relaxed afternoons. There’s something incredibly calming and energizing about being right by the water, and House Bar really makes the most of it. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming—ideal for after-work drinks, weekend catch-ups, or even solo visits. The crowd is a good mix of locals and visitors, and there’s a friendly, upbeat energy throughout. The staff were warm and efficient, and the drinks menu had a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and delicious. This is the kind of place that draws you in and makes you want to stay longer than planned. I’m already looking forward to going back for a proper visit. Highly recommend it if you're anywhere near Barangaroo—it’s a perfect waterfront escape right in the heart of the city.

We hosted a group of 30 friends here and ordered their canapés - the beef tartare was our favvvv that we enjoyed it so much and I am still thinking about it. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find this on their normal daily menu as my husband and I would love to eat it again!! The live band was lovely and the service from the event manager on the day was great too!

Limited food options but they are tasty: I recommend the fried eggplant and the katsu curry! I went twice recently and the found the waiter quite rude both times... the rest of the staff looked ok though (neutral behavior). Great location otherwise!
