Only one way to describe Level One and that is excellent. We have eaten downstairs previously and were a little underwhelmed but Level One dining is a different experience. We came for the High Cheese, which is like a traditional High Tea but with a focus on cheese. We weren't disappointed. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Special mention goes to Jane and Penny who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Certainly worth a visit.
We went to Level 1 tonight and totally didn’t expect it to be this crowded. Turns out there was a show going on, which explains the crowd. We waited for about 10 minutes to get a table. After we sat down, with 10% member discount, we ordered the crispy pork belly, wood-fired pizzas — Margherita and Supreme. The staff were very nice and helpful. They delivered the food to us. The crispy pork belly was hands down the most delicious dish — we all agreed on that! It was incredibly nice, with a perfect crispy skin. The sweet and slightly spicy sauce made it even more appetizing! The Margherita turned out better than expected — the base was crispy and fragrant, and it tasted great while hot. The Supreme was just average, maybe because I’m not a big fan of olives. The chicken wings were quite ordinary. They had a bit of spice and an Indian-style flavour, which my friend didn’t like. The salt and pepper squid was rather bland, but it went well with dipping sauce. We also ordered a white sangria, which my friend thought was nicely mixed. I had a mango colada — not bad, with a good rum aroma.
I ordered a pizza at Level1 restaurant today. It was so badly made that I ended up throwing half of it.
I love this place such decor ect, need to be open more as nothing like this in Hornsby and menu needs to be more options… more than pizza but pizza is great.. some pastas or other choices.. I used to go up for lunch and was always people there.. now only Thursday Friday Saturday night .. not enough as no great outdoor cocktail bars anywhere around here .
Seafood dumplings perfectly done. Barramundi excellent. Thanks
