BEST place for beers in Sydney! If you have been craving the beautiful creamy, smooth taste of Japanese beer in Japan, you’ll be pleased to know this beer is exactly that. It’s brewed and imported from Japan and the difference is unmistakable. So smooth and frothy. Cool, friendly and uplifting environment and easy to chat inside. It fills up quickly though! Love the karaage chicken and takoyaki the most, but also commend the mackarel and pork belly.

4.5 Stars. Japanese-Sized Bar/Eats that makes you feel like you’re in Tokyo or Osaka. Fast, friendly service and plenty of beer, sake and cocktails available. The food is pretty good too! Great to have late-night eats open in the area.

I’ve lost count of how many times I have visited this establishment. Food, drink, staff, atmosphere - this place ticks all those boxes. Easily in my top 3 favourite places to unwind and have a great time in Sydney. Kanpai!

This is my favourite bar in Sydney. They have authentic Japanese beers, the atmosphere is on point and the service is excellent. All the bar snacks have been great, special shout out to the karaga, smoked mackerel, octopus and the pork.

This is the closest authentic experience of a standing izakaya of Japan here in Sydney. It has the same owner as Nakano darling, yakitori yurippi, ramen auru, and Nomidokoro indigo. The food is outstanding just like the other places but it offers more of smaller servings which is awesome when you want to try new things! They have an extensive range of sake and other drinks. PLUS ITS PET FRIENDLY. Love coming here all the time.
