Absolutely phenomenal experience! We did the bottomless high tea and gin cocktails experience for a 43rd birthday, and it was just magnificent! The food was addictive and perfectly paired with the gin cocktails. Connor, our host, was what next-level service is all about! And Temu, our cocktail specialist, made the most divine gin cocktails! Honestly, we couldn’t have had a better time. They even prepared special mint shots for everyone, which wasn’t at all expected and was such a lovely touch! We got a secret Alice in Wonderland-themed box and key at the end, and the surprise inside was just magical. It definitely took us all back to the Alice story. At the very end, we had one last teapot to come out and we couldn’t decide which one to get, so Connor brought both out! Such a fabulous host, amazing cocktails, delicious food, gorgeous atmosphere... the whole experience was incredible. Thank you, everyone at Fox Hole, for making our experience so memorable.

We dined at The Fox Hole last night, and it was hands down the best restaurant we experienced during our entire time in Sydney. They had just updated their menu, and everything we ordered was outstanding. I had the chicken and leek house pie with mash and pea mash with mint, and it was exceptional. Rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The balance of textures and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. We also ordered the pumpkin and lentils side dish, which was just as impressive. It’s not often a side dish holds its own like that, but this one absolutely did. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was exactly what we look for when traveling. Casual, relaxed, and welcoming without feeling sloppy or unrefined. It felt like a place locals would actually come back to regularly, which is always a good sign. The service matched the tone perfectly. Friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. We felt genuinely taken care of without any pretense. This is the kind of place that gets everything right. Great food, great service, and an environment that makes you want to linger. If you’re in Sydney and want a meal that feels both elevated and approachable, The Fox Hole should be at the top of your list.

We went there for a pre Mother’s Day dinner and it was such a great find. The atmosphere, location, and food were excellent and the friendly, prompt and attentive service were above expectations! We had the draft beers and raspberry espresso martinis to drink. For entrees, we had the potato bites, fancy sausage roll and the Scotch egg which I’d been dying to try for years and it was a nice surprise. For mains we had the chicken and leek pie, pork eye fillet to share, charred cauliflower and goat’s cheese salad. The desserts were to die for - the bread and butter pudding that was topped with cognac-soaked sultanas and the blondie, which is a like a cookie bake. My young adult sons could have eaten a whole tray of the blondie ;)

Great experience at The Fox Hole in The Rocks! Cozy, London-style bar with an impressive selection of gins, whiskies, and well-crafted cocktails. The vibe is lively and welcoming, perfect for after-work drinks or a fun night out. Tried a few bar snacks and they paired perfectly with my drinks. Friendly service and a spot I’d happily return to!

One of my favourite bars in Sydney. They have the best service, quality, presentation and flavour profiles for cocktails. I go back regularly and they never disappoint. Very extensive selection of gin in particular, but I’d consider this bar to do practically any kind of cocktail you’d like. Love the table service, elegant but no-fuss atmosphere and bartenders who seriously know their stuff. Cannot commend their cocktails enough!
