Got the Wonton soup and mixed BBQ set. The Wonton were not what I expected and didn't really taste too nice. It may have been the day but I found the bbq meats a bit dry and the roast pork skin wasn't as crispy. Might have to give it another shot to confirm but so far not too impressed. Not many table inside for seating.

As a long-time Marrickville local, I’ve walked past BBQ Prince countless times but never stepped in—until today, when a craving for Chinese BBQ finally drew me in. Overall, it hit the spot! The BBQ crispy pork was the standout for me—the crackling was perfectly crisp, and the flavor was spot on. It definitely satisfied my craving. That said, I found the BBQ pork a little tough, and the meat was slightly colder than I’d prefer. Still, the meal was enjoyable, and the complimentary tea was a great touch, helping to cleanse the palate after the rich, flavorful dishes. If you’re after some solid Chinese BBQ in Marrickville, BBQ Prince is worth a visit, especially for their crispy pork. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

I got my duck from campsie it is amazing. Was craving crispy pork too so l cam here. Got the crispy pork from this shop and it is THE WORST crispy pork l have had my whole entire life. The crispy skin could give you permanent tooth damage. The good reviews don’t make any sende to me at all… this is not what cridpy pork should be.

The best Chinese BBQ meats I have ever eaten in Sydney, even better than what I had in HK. The staff are lovely and its just a gem of a place for a massive lunch or dinner. I usually take away buts its quite nice to dine in from time to time. 10/10 for BBQ Prince.

The Prince, more like the King! At least this side of Sydenham. But really, this is another Marrickville institution. A family run Cantonese BBQ spot specialising in all the classics. Dripping, glossy char sui, BBQ duck, pork knuckles, crispy Canto style pork belly, select offal cuts. My go to order is the 1/2 duck half crispy pork on egg noodle with extra braising sauce and extra ginger scallion oil. Equally fire on rice. Dine in is available, though there is a service charge. A popular local spot and for good reason! Support your local BBQ ninjas, support the Prince!
