20/6/26 - 4 stars Nothing fancy here, just simple Chinese style skewers. The place is really busy despite being on the far side of Burwood. Service is a little questionable, but, it is decently efficient. The style of service is traditional in that the cooked skewers are presented to you rather than cook it yourself. Service is decently fast. The food is overall solid. The seasoning is pretty uniform so things start to taste very similar, but, there is additional seasoning on the table to change it up. The lamb, chicken and pork were generally quite tender and enjoyable. Lamb ribs: B, 6/10. Not worth due to bone in every piece. Beef tendon: S, 8/10. Chewiness is nice change of pace but some were too hard Beef tongue: B, 6/10. Bit rubbery and hard
One of the best BBQ skewer spots I’ve tried! The wagyu rib skewer was incredibly tasty and juicy, and the squid skewer was cooked to perfection. Great flavour and authentic taste. And open till late night. Will definitely be back!
I visited this barbecue spot in the evening and had a really great experience. We ordered wagyu skewers, lamb skewers, chicken wings, and everything tasted great！perfectly grilled and full of flavor. The owner was also very warm and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I’ll definitely come back again!
A very enjoyable experience. The house-made bayberry drink is delicious — perfectly sweet and sour, and very refreshing. The skewers are made with fresh meat and taste great. The grilled beef brisket is fragrant, and the Wagyu skewers are extremely tender. The lamb chops, chicken gizzards, oysters, scallops, and grilled eggplant are all delicious and definitely worth trying.
The barbecue is delicious. The lamb tendons are very flavorful, the beef skewers are tender, and the lamb leg is well-marinated. The hairtail skewers have no bones at all.
