We ordered a few things and overall had a good experience. The croquettes were crispy and enjoyable, though I wish they had more flavour as the jalapeño and brisket didn’t come through as much as expected. The burger was enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. There was also quite a bit of sauce which made it a little messy to eat. The mac and cheese was the standout, really creamy, full of flavour, and easily the best dish we tried. Service was okay overall, just not especially warm of friendly. Will return one day to try their plates instead.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Smokey Mary's The food is to die for, will definitely be back for the food. Only negatives we had were that we sat inside and were quite cold from the back door being open and the breeze coming through, maybe if you could look at shutting that door so that customers who choose to sit inside out of the cold aren't cold from the breeze. And checking in with your customers to make sure everything is going OK also, instead of them having to signal you down for drinks and desserts etc. Other than those 2 small negatives, I'd highly recommend eating here.

Very tender texture with luxurious layers of taste. The chilli sauce is a must try, bringing all the flavours to a NEXT level. This place earns my respect as a Chinese who is already used to most nice flavours. 100% recommended for meat lovers, whoever visits Northern Beaches for a friend party, casual date or family day.

What an incredible find in Narraweena. Every single plate that hit our table was packed with flavour and cooked to absolute perfection. The highlights were definitely the grilled octopus served with those perfectly charred slices of bread and the generous platter featuring brisket and slaw. Everything was seasoned just right. We left feeling completely satisfied and are already planning our next visit to try more of the menu.

We ordered the large take away platter and we were looking forward to a new barbeque place on the beaches. Unfortunately this did not live up to the hype. The brisket should be the hero and be tender and full of juicy flavour but ours was dry, flakey and difficult to swallow. Even adding the supplied bbq sauce didn't help. I don't know if we got an old brisket cut or a take away cut but it was so disappointing. The pulled pork was good but not amazing. The smoked sausage with cheese were the best thing on the platter and very nice. Along with the chips these were cracker loved the seasoning on the chips. The chicken wings were just ok. We ordered rolls in advance but they also didn't taste fresh. I did really enjoy the Mac n Cheese loved that. I don't know if the food is better when you eat in and can only comment on the food that we had. Unfortunately not a returning customer due to the brisket let down. The cost would be worth it if the food was moist and how smoked bbq should be. But again this is just our experience.
