The food here is really delicious, and staff are lovely. Dined here for lunch and the atmosphere is perfect for a Sunday lunch. I recommend the fish tacos
COME ON OVER TO BISTRO 1925- Today's Special Crispy Pork Belly with Coleslaw and Mash are Superbly Devine! Generous serving of pork with crispy skin and meat that virtually melts 😋 in your mouth guaranteed to take you to the moon and back! My wife ordered the regular Special for Thursday lunch- Seafood Laksa Fettucine and its really delicious 😋 Chef Marco and your team - Hats off 👏 for this Sumptuous Meal - sooooo yummy.
Not sure how this place has anything less than 4 stars — if anything, it’s a solid 5/5 for me! I came in with no expectations and was genuinely surprised by the quality and value. I ordered the pork ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and came with a generous serve of chips and sauce (I swapped it for mushroom, and it was absolutely delicious). All of that for just $26 — incredible value for the portion and quality you get. On top of that, service is great! The bartenders were super welcoming and friendly. The food here has definitely levelled up recently. The chips in particular deserve a shoutout — perfectly crisp and seasoned. Will 100% be back soon. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t been in a while!
Food is clean and tasty, but not great. Service is very good, the venue clean and well maintained. Friendly and safe atmosphere. Prices are high for the area and quality. This used to be a go to place for pensioners to lunch and dine, it is clear that is not the target demographic the restaurant is aiming to service. A big part of the dinner at the RSL was to pause and pay respects to the Ode to the fallen, this is no longer done at 6pm, only in the morning. It would be great if they brought it back, it is part of our great Australian tradition and something we need to keep alive for our kids.
I had my first visit here, and it was fantastic. Great customer service, which I value. I ate the 1925 schnitzel, which was wonderful and quite full. Chips were seasoned well. The steak and seafood were excellent. Would dine here again!
