The food was pretty good. The bacon in the burger was crispy. Chips maintained their crunch quite well. The cheesy garlic bread had a good flavour to it. The atmosphere is that of a typical pub which holds it back a little in terms of overall rating. The chef brought out the food to us which was a nice touch.

This was the worst steak I have ever had The steak was too chewy it was like eating rubber In one of the dishes we ordered extra vegetables and it turned out to be 2 broccoli small once and or two carrots for an extra $3??? We also had calamari dish which was cooked nicely The place was nice and cozy and service was good as well The biggest let down was the star of the dish which was the steak I didn’t expect a proper steak but serving a 100% chewy steak is not acceptable, it was a rip off and ruined the dinner It was first time there and definitely won’t be another time

I ordered a surf and turf not sure what to expect but it really impressed me with the flavours and seasoning of the dish would definitely order again

This restaurant is located within the Hornsby Railway Hotel and offers great food at reasonable prices. The menu is largely typical pub fare with burgers and pizzas but it is served fresh and tasty in a pleasant modern location. Be aware that if you ask for the gluten-free option on the burger they use slices of gluten-free bread rather than a bun.

Great start to the day after voting, dropping in for a couple of drinks and light lunch. Very tasty and reasonable range👍
