Food was standard, nothing to fault, warm and hearty usual club food, generous portion size for their price. Service was outstanding though. I was there with my toddler and the staff specifically made things easy for me by going out of his way to set up the table and high chair and brought us our food while I was busy entertaining my toddler at the play area. Overall super happy with the dining experience! Had the basil pesto pasta with chicken (that I forgot to snap a picture before digging in so the look of the plate didn’t quite do its actual presentation justice)
If I could give the food 4.5 stars I would. The food is fabulous so well done to the chef!! The service is mediocre but it is a club so to be expected. The atmosphere is club-like too. The price is a bit expensive but given how tasty it is you forget the price along the way.
Bistro within the Asquith Bowling Club. We were attending an extended family / group function here and they did a very good job keeping us fed with platters of spring rolls, sliders, wraps etc. Asquith Bowling Club Bar just outside of the bistro provided a full range of alcoholic / non alcoholic drinks.
Awesome place and amazing food😍☺️ The lodge offers cozy atmosphere with its warm lighting and rustic decor,making it perfect spot for evening meal. Service was impeccable with friendly and attentive staff. Pasta was perfectly cooked,each bite was mouthwatering delight♥️😋 Highly recommended place for satisfying meal.
Update 2025: Food is good, they just can't cook steak to request. I have resorted to saying rare and still I get well done steak. Lost 1 star. Original review: Fresh and very tasty. Meal was hot and presented very well. I was quite surprised that a local could offer up such good value and taste. Definitely coming back.
