What a shame Beefy’s have gone. This place used to be great with good food but now it’s just great drinks with sub par food. I know it was Easter Friday but the amount of chips on the loaded fries for $16 was completely outrageous. Honestly there was about 10 small French fries at most! The fish tacos weren’t very nice. The seafood plate tasted like cheap brand frozen food. Would be nice if the chairs were a bit more comfortable, it’s very uncomfortable sitting there for a long time. But, it’s still an ok atmosphere and nice to stop for a short time. Easy parking, a slippery dip and two putt putt golf holes to amuse the kids.
Called in for a couple of lunchtime beers when out at Penrith recently. What a great selection of beers available. Being earlier in the day I stuck to the lower ABV’s which were delicious but would like to get back for an evening session to give the IPA’s a good hot crack! Didn’t eat anything this time around so can’t comment on the food. Looking forward to getting back out there for a proper session 😎
Was lucky to find Squinters on Google Maps while driving through and looking for a beer. The brews on offer far surpassed our expectations. We tried a couple of cracking NEIPAs and an incredible smoothie sour. Nice facilities, kid friendly. Will come back.
Very pleasant Friday night there. The young singer bore all the hallmarks of a Joni Mitchell although her songs were far more modern. The Korean chips and chicken burgers were outstanding and the beer choices excellent. Recommend a visit if you are in the area.
