Perfect local place for solo or group dining. Low key, chill and unpretentious, I have really enjoyed brunching my way through the menu here! My absolute fave is the Eggs Benny with Bacon 🤤 and the coffee really is a stand out. Also special mention to the Bacon Egg Roll on Turkish bread, it is so good and comes with loads of bacon. Given the cafe had such understated appearance and homely vibes, I really wasn't expecting much when I moved to the Waitara area a year ago but expectations have been pleasantly exceeded. Located within the PCYC, next to Mark Taylor oval, Jamie's is very popular with the locals and has an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating. Personally, I love a seat outside so I can be amongst the garden and greenery from the trees. There are umbrellas for shade and also tables under the extended roof - great for when it's raining (for me, it's got to be either freezing or ridiculously windy for me to go inside) 😋 Only thing to note is it can get kinda loud inside, from time to time, due to being part of the PCYC there are usually a lot of kids enjoying their time and the general noise that comes along with it. The cafe itself is super kids friendly too and attracts a fair amount of families, mums with bubs and people with their pets, which is just lovely. The staff rarely get an order wrong and are quick to rectify if there does happen to be an issue. Thanks for being my fave local comfort spot guys! I always feel super relaxed and happy when dining alone here and will continue to get sneaky takeaways on my work from home days 💖

food was yummy, we ordered the surf and turf, fried chicken burger, detox juice and mixed berry frappe. the steak was medium rare when requested for rare but it was also slightly thin so that’s okay- it was still super delicious, prawns were a bit too salty, chicken was fried perfectly with a delicious sauce and overall both the drinks were good. the atmosphere is super cute with a lot of outdoor seating available !! the menu is huge with also random korean bunsik options? looks alright as well!

Delicious food and top-notch service. My son had kid's bolognese. Me and my partner had steak and king prawn linguine.🥩🍝 Home made pasta sauce was amazing. The warm ambiance made our family dinner special.

Surf and turf was $26 and came out as a 15cm, paper thin piece of overcooked meat. Should have spotted the red flag when the cashier didn't even ask how we wanted the steak done. Cheeseurger was bland and dry. The only saving grace was the pastas, which tasted ok at best. Very disappointing considering we're locals and would have loved to come back often.
