Such a nice cafe. Very open and the morning sun was just beautiful. It wasn’t busy, the food came out quick and was very good! Music was at a good level and fit the vibe perfectly - 10/10 will return!

Was in a nice location, parking was fine, iga across the street had plenty space, not necessarily wheelchair friendly because you can’t park directly at the cafe, aside from that it was easy to find. In terms of the food and service, service was great, although I did dine in, i had to order at the table and sit back down (not that big of a deal) For food i ordered fish tacos, turkish breakfast. Drinks: tiramisu latte + peach and strawberry iced tea. The drinks were both horrible, the tiramisu latte was very bitter, the tiramisu on top tasted a little stale too, don’t know if it was intentionally hard to bite on. The peach and strawberry iced tea was too overpowered by strawberry. I couldn’t actually taste any peach, it was no different than a plain strawberry juice, a bit disappointing because i love peach flavored drinks. Fish tacos were a 10/10, best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Sauce was amazing and the fish to vegetable ratio was perfect. The turkish breakfast was okay, 7/10. Bread and eggs were perfect but the sujuk (Turkish sausage) was overcooked and very tough to cut and bite into. I often have Turkish sausage with eggs for breakfast and theres a big difference in taste and texture. Final thing that kinda bothered me was i noticed on my receipt i got charged an extra 15% for public holiday. Which is fine because businesses are entitled to charge 10-15% extra. But is designed to help business cover the extra costs of employee wages. However I only saw the two owners working today. Which was a little funny to me. Overall the place isn’t bad at all, food came out fast and tasted great for the most part, ill probably skip out on the drinks next time

Stix is an interesting and unusual spot, which unfortunately missed the mark when we visited. Located on a busy industrial road, there is a small amount (2 spaces) of parking underground, or you'll need to park along the street. The decor is good, and the place has an unusual but pleasant feel to it. There are tables inside and out, food, coffee, and various other drinks. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. The sliders were really tasteless, and the contents were very overcooked. The wrap was also pretty tasteless until the very end, so I suspect the sauce had all been put at the bottom. The kids burger was served pretty rare, which whilst tasty for me, doesn't feel great to serve to a child. To top it off, we had to wait a while for the food and noticed a staff member running across the street to the IGA for supplies. The cold drinks were good, but the coffee was not well made, and the latte art was non existent. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. Given the positive reviews I'm inclined to think they were just having a bad day, but unfortunately that was the day we visited.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The owners Sam and Samah are so friendly, the coffee was PERFECT and I was salivating at the food as I was eating, so tasty. Plus the vibe of the place is awesome, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and natural light. Can’t wait to be back! ☺️
