This review is long overdue, but worth sharing! On a recent exploration adventure, Bubbles and I found ourselves wandering through Hurstville, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and bustling streets. After a pleasant stroll, we decided to finally check out Blue Haven—a place we’d heard about from friends and foodies. The experience truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, we were impressed by the warm, welcoming service and the inviting aroma drifting from the kitchen. The menu offered an exciting variety of dishes, and we couldn’t resist sampling a little bit of everything. Each plate was bursting with fresh flavours and high-quality ingredients—clearly prepared with care. The standout favourites for us were definitely the pork and fried rice, which were so delicious we almost ordered seconds! The only thing stopping us was our full stomachs. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and explore the menu—you won’t be disappointed! Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience, Blue Haven delivers on both flavour and atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Haven't come to hurstville for ages and found this place. The menu just got too many to choose, need sometime to decide. Tried couple of things are quite nice. I was told the Steamed fish is one of the signature. The taste quite good but a little plain than I thought as menu mentioned lots of herbs in it. The fermented tea leave salad ita quite nice and crunch. Taste good but I feel something is missing. The fish soup noodles is quite nice with homemade fish cakes and fish meat soup. The fritter is really good but put it in the soup very quick not crunchy. Only 2 tiny fish cakes just like 2 half of normal fish balls. The noodles service quite small. All serve are relatively small and quite pricey. The staff very nice, welcoming and helpful.

Very friendly service. We were greeted from the moment we stepped in. Staff even asked us if its the first time eating the dish and gave us tips on how to eat it. We ordered the warm tofu noodles and goat curry. Having not tried Burmese cuisine before, it was a very interesting experience. The warm tofu noodles was rich and creamy. Made from chickpeas and apparently takes days to prepare. Goat curry was flavoursome but the stand out if the tofu noodles for its uniqueness. They also give a free drink if you post a review which is probably why it's so highly rated and reviewed on google but nonetheless, it was a great experience.

Great experience overall. From the moment you walk in, the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive right through until you leave. The food is full of flavour and tastes really authentic, with everything well cooked and nicely presented. Coconut noodle soup very tasty and creamy flavour. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area.
