I’ve been coming here many times and have never been disappointed. I always buy my quality meat here, it’s a family favorite! A huge bonus is their cafe, where else in Sydney can you still get a coffee for $3? They also have great ready-to-go foodwhich is perfect for a quick lunch. Highly recommend for both the grocery haul and a bite to eat.

If you're planning a visit to Meat Emporium, do yourself a favour and get there before lunch. The queue grows quickly for good reason. We ordered the hamburger and the steak sandwich, and both delivered far more than their price would suggest. The value is exceptional, but what really stands out is the quality of the meat. It's clear that the ingredients are treated with care and respect. The steak sandwich, in particular, deserves a mention. The steak was wonderfully tender, perfectly seasoned, and allowed to speak for itself without unnecessary fuss. The burger was no different. Juicy and well caramelised, nestled between a soft bun, topped with bacon and cheese. In a world where "premium" often comes with a premium price tag, Meat Emporium is a refreshing reminder that outstanding quality and honest value can still go hand in hand. It's simple, satisfying food, executed with confidence. Look forward to trying other items on their menu. I have the breakfast brisket in my sights!

Great experience at the Emporium. We had lunch at their inhouse cafe also, miso chicken burger and sweet potato fries were legendary. Interestingly there was an incident where a rubbish bin caught on fire while we were there and the staff at Emporium were very professional and defused he situation promptly ! Bravo 👏

The shop offers a wide variety of beef, pork, chicken, and assorted grains. Their beef is incredibly fresh and delicious, which is why we keep coming back for more.

Extremely disappointing experience at Australian Meat Emporium. I spent $245.30 in store yesterdayand had an unnecessarily hostile experience over a very simple checkout request. During the shopping, everything was fine. I got good suggestion with my inquiries of beef, and the meat I bought was cut up. I thought it would be a happy shopping experience, but when it came to checking out, I got incredibly unfair treatment and threats. Before the cashier had even closed the cash drawer, I handed over $250 plus an additional $0.30 so I could receive simpler change, and politely requested a $5 note instead of being given a large amount of coins. However, the cashier refused to accept the 30 cents, refused my request for a $5 note, closed the cash drawer, and handed me a large amount of coins instead. When I calmly asked again if the coins could simply be exchanged for a $5 note, I was repeatedly told the “transaction was finished” and nothing could be done (despite this being an issue that could have been resolved in seconds). When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told by the cashier that she was the manager and they can't do anything about it. (I later got told she's not the manager, don't know if it's to avoid responsibility or if she just lies). The situation became even more disrespectful when she later reopened the cash drawer, threw a $5 note at me, refused to take back the coins, and told me to leave the store with both the extra note and the coins. I felt humiliated and extremely disrespected. The whole time I was treated like a beggar. The situation escalated further when staff members Phil and Matt approached and repeatedly told me to leave the store while it was still open at around 7:20pm, threatening to call police because I had apparently “made their staff upset.” And told me that even if you're a customer, there's no reason for you to stay in the store after you've paid. I didn't steal, rob, or have any physical contact with anyone. The whole time I was calmly communicating, trying to get a fair treatment, because I'm a customer who just spent $245 at your store. Why are your employees threatening me to leave the store right now, otherwise they will call the police. As a paying customer calmly trying to resolve a simple issue, I found this response intimidating, disproportionate, and completely unprofessional. I felt I don't have the right to require a fair treatment at your store. Interestingly, once my partner arrived and informed staff that the interaction would be recorded, their attitudes changed immediately and they suddenly became much more respectful. To make matters worse, after returning home I discovered a concerning discrepancy with one unopened package of Beef Eye Fillet. The label stated 1.393kg with $59.99/kg and I was charged $83.57, however the unopened paper packaged product weighed only 1.235kg at home, and the meat itself with plastic bag weighed only 1.211kg after removing extra paper bags. This suggests a potential overcharge of approximately $10. I have the full video evidence of: the weighing and unpacking process, and verification of my scale accuracy. At this point, I am still waiting for: an apology regarding the unacceptable treatment and intimidation, an explanation regarding the weight discrepancy, and an appropriate resolution. Very disappointing customer service and concerning pricing accuracy issues.
