I went there for lunch today (having been there many times and always enjoying the food) and ordered the pumpkin salad, adding a chicken schnitzel to it as well. I have to say it was the most delicious salad I’ve ever had. Fresh, light and so yum. I’m not even exaggerating. The service was on point as well - attentive and helpful. Definitely my new favourite.

This cafe does not just make coffee. They make liquid motivation. Their takeaway flat white is so perfectly balanced that I actually look forward to Monday mornings, which is a sentence I never thought I would say. The crema is thick, the milk is silky, and the flavour hangs around just long enough to make the walk to work feel like a victory lap. The baristas are speedy wizards who somehow remember my name and my order even when the queue is out the door. I am pretty sure they have a secret stash of happiness they grind into every batch. I have tried to make coffee this good at home and failed miserably, so now I just accept my fate and keep coming back. Best decision I make all day, every day.

I recently visited Against the Grind Café and had a really great experience. The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and made just right. You can tell they care about quality. For breakfast, I tried their menu and everything was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. The portions were generous and perfect to start the day. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it a nice place to sit and enjoy the morning. The staff were friendly and provided quick service, even though it was a bit busy. Overall, it’s a great spot for both coffee and breakfast. I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back again.

What a wonderful spot for delicious food and a great atmosphere. The coffee, mortadella slider and crab omelette were delicious and fresh. Ordered a roll for takeaway and it was good for hours after. The service was also excellent - the server remembered us the next day and was really sweet.
