Came to the Rocks and feel the need for caffeine. One of the few coffee store recommended by Gemini was ASLAN Coffee the Rocks. I follow google maps direction through some good old style of alleyway and ended up on the store. The ambience were great, i’m feeling like i’m having coffee in a 18-19th Century street. They have various coffee selections, pastries, and lunch menus. We ordered Iced Latte and Iced Coffee with House Tiramisu Ice Cream. The coffee was great and refreshing on a hot sunny day. Worth the price.

Tucked away in a quiet back alley behind Starbucks in The Rocks, ASLAN Coffee Roasters The Rocks is one of those spots you’d probably walk past without noticing unless you were looking for it. The location is easily its biggest draw. Set along Nurses Walk, it has that slightly hidden, almost European laneway feel that makes it a nice escape from the heavier foot traffic around Circular Quay. It’s small and a bit tucked in, which adds to the charm but also means it’s more of a quick stop than somewhere you’d settle in for long. I ordered an almond cappuccino, and it was not bad, but not particularly memorable either. The coffee itself leans more towards a straightforward, slightly milder profile, which might not hit if you’re used to stronger, more punchy Sydney-style brews. ASLAN seems to have their own beans with deeper, earthier notes, but in milk, that character didn’t come through as much as expected. That said, the overall experience is still pleasant. The staff are friendly, and there’s a steady flow of people grabbing takeaway coffees or light bites. It feels like a reliable stop if you’re already exploring The Rocks rather than a destination you’d go out of your way for. Worth a visit if you’re nearby. I will come back for the food another time.

Lovely spot. Tucked away in an alley but it made for a cool atmosphere. They have a few tables out front if you want to stay and eat, which is what I did. However, there were plenty of people taking their coffee and food to go. I couldn’t decide on what to order so I tried a few options, starting with an almond croissant and an iced latte. I also ordered the Big Breakfast Wrap and it was delicious!!

I had a really lovely time here. The cold brew was so refreshing and had this really nice, sweet aroma to it that I loved. I also ordered the maple-glazed bacon and added extra avocado, and oh my gosh, it was delicious. What I liked most was how balanced the flavors were—every single thing on the plate tasted so good on its own, but together it was perfect. The vibes and atmosphere are really nice and cozy. I will definitely coming back here .

Very cute little cafe with all outdoor seating (heaters if you need!). Situated down a couple of alleyways, it's quiet and peaceful, with great coffee and food too! If you've got time to chill before grabbing a ferry, it's a 5 minute walk from the terminal and well worth the stroll.
