such a beautiful and timeless cafe tucked away in Mosman. The space is filled with greenery and flowers, with both indoor and outdoor seating that makes you feel like you’re brunching in a peaceful garden. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and unhurried, which is perfect for a slow catch-up or a relaxed weekend lunch we ordered the Blue Swimmer Crab Linguine and the Lamb Shoulder Salad, and both dishes were fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully plated. The juices were also refreshing and vibrant. Overall, a lovely dining experience with great food and an even better vibe. I can see why it’s a favourite

Had a great lunch and can definitely see why it’s so popular! We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Blue Swimmer Crab Linguine, and Beer-Battered Fish & Chips. The Eggs Benedict was done really well, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich, creamy hollandaise. The crab linguine was probably my favourite—light, fresh, and packed with crab flavour without feeling too heavy. The fish and chips were also a standout, with a crisp, golden batter and flaky fish inside. The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. A great spot for brunch or lunch in Mosman. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This place is so charming. It's like you come here mainly for the ambience and the delicious food is the bonus! Either way, both are just beautiful. Upon entering, we felt like we were away from Sydney for a moment and in our own little fairytale there. The service was also good because they kept checking in on us and would explain what the dishes are. We ordered the eggs benedict, steak, and the dumplings. The serving is enormous and presentation was a delight. The eggs benedict and the steak were cooked to perfection, and the dumplings selection was good. Love the combination of all the tastes! Finished our brunch off with a beautiful French Apple Tart! Love the different textures! We highly recommend this place because it's so cosy and the food is presented and cooked well. Locals also love this place and you can see that they're usually full. People love coming here!

Lovely outdoor atmosphere and a great spot to catch up with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience enjoyable. The standout dish was the blue crab pasta—it was full of flavour and definitely the highlight of our meal. The rest of the dishes were quite average and a little on the salty side, especially considering the price. Overall, it’s a nice place for the atmosphere and service, but I hope the food becomes more consistent.

Had a lovely brunch at August The Old Place today. The courtyard is such a beautiful space to sit and relax, especially if you're bringing your dog along. It's genuinely dog friendly and has a really welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. The standout for me was the blue swimmer crab dish, fresh, full of flavour, and easily my favourite thing we ordered. The coffee was great too, and the service was friendly! A great local spot in Mosman for good food, good coffee, and a relaxed outdoor setting. Looking forward to coming back.
