I’ve visited Bitton Rose Bay twice now, and after another exceptional experience, it definitely deserves a review. I first came here in November last year, before moving to Dubai in December. I now return to Sydney every few months to visit friends and family, and Bitton has quickly become one of those places I’m happy to come back to. I was catching up with my friend, and a nearby cafe we wanted to visit was closed, so I told him let’s visit Bitton, as the last time I was here was incredible. The service has been lovely on both visits. The staff are friendly, attentive and always checking whether there is anything they can help with. They also really enjoy having a conversation, which makes the experience feel warm and personal rather than rushed. This time, I ordered the steak sandwich for lunch. The portion was huge, the steak was cooked properly and everything was extremely tasty. It was so filling that I didn’t need another meal for the rest of the day. I ate it slowly to savour the taste! The fries were delicious too (just like last time). I also ordered an almond milk cappuccino with no sugar, and it was made perfectly. On my previous visit, I tried the matcha, which was decent, but I would definitely recommend ordering the coffee instead. It is much better. Last time, I had the Moroccan chicken sandwich, which was also delicious. It appears they have recently introduced a new menu, as there were decorations throughout the venue announcing it, so I’m looking forward to trying more dishes next time. The location is another highlight. Bitton is positioned across from the golf course, which creates a peaceful atmosphere, while the outdoor setting is perfect for people watching. It’s an ideal place to catch up with a friend because you can comfortably sit for hours, enjoy the atmosphere and never feel rushed. Great food, even better coffee and consistently welcoming service. Staff are friendly, the cafe has a gorgeous atmosphere & the ambiance was brilliant. Absolutely perfect breakfast, the crepes were beautiful, the vanilla & berry jam was so so nice. The one pan breakfast was 10/10 also. The English breakfast tea was also superb & coffee. Can’t wait to come back!

Had such a lovely lunch at Bitton Rose Bay. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — and David made the experience even more special with his thoughtful hospitality. The food was delicious - especially the cheese soufflé - was light, rich, and perfectly executed, and the steak tartare was fresh and beautifully seasoned — definite standouts.

Excellent French bistro meets East Sydney cafe. Great meals with prices that aren't the typically high French food price. Menu is a mix of cafe classics like burgers and more interesting items like lobster roles. Nice outdoor seating opposite the golf course. Tried Bitton Alexandria before too but it's closed down now.

We’ve been to Bitton Rose Bay many times, but tonight the duck breast truly amazed us. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was beautifully balanced. The steak was, as always, excellent and cooked to perfection. Matt took wonderful care of us throughout the evening — attentive, warm, and professional. It was a very enjoyable night, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended!
