I used to go to this place for breakfast a long time ago and I always loved the food. But I have to admit I was unsure about going here for dinner at my girlfriend’s suggestion…but man alive I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here tonight. The menu is varied from the usual fare you’ll find everywhere. The service was amazing. The guy on guitar playing original tunes was fantastic…..everything was way better than I expected. I have to say the food was delicious. If you live in the area or are thinking of heading to Hornsby to see what it has to offer….go to this place. I think they are open for dinner Friday and Saturday night?! I hope they do well because they deserve to…..they are giving it a red hot go and I commend them for that. It’s BYO for wine so blow the dust off your favourite bottle from your cellar and take it here! Will have dinner again here for sure 😁👍

I had breakfast here, ordered smoked salmon on sourbread toast with halloumi on the side, it was really bland; the halloumi saved it (which I paid extra). But, the affogato was nice. A good serving size for the ice cream and just perfect amount of coffee to pour on top. The service was poor though. This older guy in glasses kept talking to his coworkers instead of listening to my order. He talked to the barista next to him 3 separate times, while I was ordering. He had to ask me to repeat my order twice because he was distracted. Very impolite and disrespectful. Also it’s table service. I didn’t know because there was no signage and I ordered at the counter. A very neutral corner cafe. Nothing too special and personally wouldn’t visit again.

This is the first cafe I saw after a short heritage stairs walk and seeing the quarry at Hornsby. I have myself a little soup of the day, pumpkin soup today, it was lovely. With a bit of cuppa. Hopefully I could bring my moms and pops here one day.

Always great customer service, beautiful coffee art, and well-balanced food. What a wonderful Sunday for a family day! Thanks, Brewhaha team!

It doesn't matter how quiet or busy the place seems to be, every time I get a takeaway coffee from here, it takes literally 7-12 minutes. Long enough to make you realise it's rare to wait more than 3-4 mins in most other places, even when they're flat out. Last time I was there, despite being relatively quiet and having a dedicated person at the machine, they made a total of 5 coffees in the 11 minutes between when I ordered mine and when I finally got it. Food is good when eating in, and service is decent otherwise.
