I rarely take pictures of my food. In fact, I harbour an extraordinary level of resentment towards those who use their phones to take pictures at dining establishments. But when this majestic. meal appeared before me, I knew I had to break my own rule and grab a snap. Sydney is a city full of cafes and coffee haunts, but I’ve not experienced one with such a cosy, unassuming atmosphere and high quality food and coffee and Brix & Beans. Where other venues are charging $30 for little more than a couple of eggs and dry toast, Brix turns out a nourishing load of avocado and poached eggs for only $17. My breakfast, with coffee, came to a princely $22. I loved it so much, I went back the following day for the same meal. Highly recommended.
Great food. Can get busy but service and waiting time are very good. Worth the walk if staying in the city.
Lovely food, and location. Priced well majority of food items are below $20. Burger was $19 and acai bowl was $17. Iced coffee sat around $8. Would go again.
Quaint little cafe made out of beautiful stone! There isn’t too much room inside but there is a really nice patio space just outside. The sandwiches were really great, they really hit the spot. I was really impressed by the variety of pasta dishes, sandwiches, and drinks. This really seems like the kind of spot I could catch a great meal.
Tried a few different meals with my family, overall very delicious breakfast options, good staff service, and a decent space and environment with nice music, although the space could've been cleaner and would be good if more tables were provided. Another thing was the staff service could've been more friendly and welcoming, but it wasn't bad. We found it hard to get seated as a larger family but we made it work. I would definitely recommend the avocado toast as it was very tasty and filling.
