As someone who loves both Chinese‑style food and brunch, I was thrilled to discover this Asian‑fusion cafe in Hurstville. It is only a short walk from Hurstville train station / Westfield, really easy to reach. Beef Bulgogi Bowl was our top pick. The teriyaki‑flavoured beef goes perfectly with avocado and fresh vegetables, so satisfying when mixed up. Prawn & Scallop Linguine stood out too. The scallops are fresh and tender — such a nice surprise for brunch. Highly recommend the creative Mee Goreng Burger. Having Indonesian fried noodles inside a burger bun is such a fun, unique idea. The Fish Taco is also great. Crispy large fish fillet wrapped in soft corn tortilla, with salsa and avocado, crunchy and full of flavour. We ordered iced strawberry matcha, Mont Blanc cold brew and Sunset Boost. All the drinks tasted fresh and refreshing. Staff are really friendly and attentive, even when the venue gets busy. A wonderful spot for fusion brunch, we will definitely be back.

Visited them today and the presentation and taste of the dishes was insane. The service was so prompt and nice. We got two specials - the migoreng burger and gochujang noodles. Then their popular dish fish tacos which did not disappoint. The vanilla cream iced latte was also strong and good. The vibes of the cafe was cozy despite being busy. We would definitely come back!

amazing asian fusion brunch cafe! HUGE portions too! The beef bulgolgi bowl was my fave dish!! really tasty 😋 Alsp quite enjoyed their croissant and linguine. Their juices are also very fresh and they have their own canning machine too. Good vibes. Can see why it's so popular!

I had a mixed experience at Common Grounds Café in Westfield Hurstville. The coffee was absolutely fantastic, rich, aromatic, and one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The almond croissant was also outstanding: fresh, flaky, buttery, and perfectly crisp. Those two items alone are well worth trying. Unfortunately, the breakfast wrap was a completely different story. I requested the chorizo be replaced with sujuk for a halal option, and the staff member at the counter kindly confirmed this could be done. I appreciated her willingness to accommodate the request. However, after waiting around 20 minutes, the wrap was one of the most disappointing breakfast wraps I’ve ever had. The presentation was very unappealing, and the flavour was extremely poor. I’ve had many wraps and pita pockets with sujuk before, where the spices are rich, aromatic, and full of flavour, but this one lacked everything that makes sujuk enjoyable. It was a real waste of both time and money, and because I was very hungry that day, it completely ruined my appetite. I genuinely hope the café reviews this menu item because the quality of the coffee and pastries shows they are capable of much better.

Common grounds is a hidden gem in Hurstville Westfield! They have some seriously unique dishes like this pork belly noodles that changes colour?! Their matcha and drinks were also delicious and comes in an aesthetic can. Highly recommend visiting
