I ordered a skim flat white, but the quality was far worse than my previous visit and extremely disappointing. Compared to a cafe I visited yesterday, the difference in quality was so stark that it was genuinely shocking. The milk temperature was off and the foam was poorly done. It wasn’t even close to being a proper flat white—the texture and thickness of the foam were completely wrong. Just because you pour milk over espresso doesn’t automatically make it a flat white. Honestly, it made me feel very frustrated and let down. After just one sip, I felt so uncomfortable and annoyed that I didn’t want to stay any longer, so I left without finishing it. The entire experience made me feel extremely dissatisfied and upset. It felt like a complete waste of both my time and money, and my mood was completely ruined. This was by far the worst flat white I’ve had among the cafes I’ve visited in Sydney, and I will not be returning. I’ve attached photos of the flat white from this cafe as well as flat whites from other cafes I’ve visited in Sydney. If the person making the coffee is the owner, I would recommend hiring a barista. If that person is already a barista, then how about having someone else make it instead?

I have been a local to the area for 30 years and I’ve been to many many cafes all over Sydney in my lifetime. I can say that this cafe is one of the best cafes in our local area. The coffees are great and so is the service from the friendly staff although sometimes they are not perfect but no one is always 100% happy everyday. The atmosphere of this cafe is so cool. It’s got that vintage artisan vibe and has parking across the street where you can park your beautiful bike or car to stare at if you’re an enthusiast. Some of the 1 star reviews that I read are so fake that I can’t help to think they’re from a competitor that gets no business. 😂 Saying the coffee and the whole cafe is terrible and takes 7 photos of just one coffee out of 365 days a year they serve and haven’t tried anything else. Saying that the atmosphere is bad when what has the atmosphere done anything bad to them? 😂 I’d say mind your own business because this cafe is always full and has been full since the day it’s opened! ☺️ Best Place to be and great coffee with great service from staff!

Great little cafe that is welcoming and cosy with quirky twists on traditional favourites. Very accommodating for families, pets and service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Chilli Crab omelette.

There’s really no need to be so harsh. Running a café isn’t easy these days, and this café is genuinely great. The owner is kind, hardworking, and cares about both the business and the customers. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting them whenever you can.

What a find! 👍😃 Cute cafe with friendly staff and a surprisingly extensive menu! I just missed a train, so thought I'd grab a coffee, 15 mins to kill! 😥 While ordering, I was tempted by the mushroom and egg wrap. So glad I was... it was superb! 👏 The coffee was fantastic too! I have reason to be in West Ryde over the coming months, so Element 6 will be my "go to" eatery / cafe 5 Star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
