It was great to try out a local restaurant today. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the food was amazing. I had the lamb wrap, which was absolutely delicious, and my husband had a burger that he loved. I would definitely recommend it!
Went last night for date night. Ordered the meat platter for 2 and whilst the food was cooked well and was yum, the portion size was average. The chips and salad to share were probably the equivalent of a single serve, in fact I've seen single meal pictures with other reviews on here with more chips. We also got 2 of the smallest lamb cutlets i have ever seen. For $85 dollars i had expected a lot more food and think there is far better value for money out there. I was also dissapointed with the size of the garlic and love pizza too, $18 for 6 small pieces, a similar price at the pizza shop up the road leaves it to shame.
Went in for a coffee but ended up having scrambled eggs and toast lol. The service was quick, liked the hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place for early breakfast.
Had a Mediterranean Chicken pizza at Embarco & Co Café and it was excellent. Great thin crust, fresh toppings — San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, marinated chicken, olives, capsicum, Spanish onion and rocket that wasn’t bitter. The tropical smoothie (watermelon, pineapple and green apple) was also clean and refreshing.
We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas dinner at Embarco & Co. We were very surprised they were open and did not have any surcharges. The food was absolutely delicious! The roast pork dish was huge! Deserts like the tiramasu were incredibly authentic - not full of cream! Don't be put off by the location, this is a hidden gem at the foothills of the Blue Mountains. We would strongly recommend.
