Honestly love everything about this place and I don't say that often. The coffee is delicious, the baked goods are fresh and the location is great. Came here on 3 separate days and had an awesome experience every time. Dog friendly and limited parking. The staff are super friendly and remembered my name after only visiting once. The food is delicious and fresh. Would seriously recommend.

Bought a large coffee for $5.50, but was refused to be served in a cup, for that price pretty poor service. (Edit: the staff did a great job but for any large cafe- restaurant to not provide in a cup is a bit disappointing and reflects the ownership should look into its policies), I traveled so far to be given in a cup, bottom line it’s a small favour for a pretty price…

This place has no idea what good food and service is. They are a daytime cafe that doesn’t know what high end dinner service is, yet they charge the prices. You pay $38 for a Camembert and French baguette starter; And they cover the cheese with garlic instead of honey and give you a half a baguette which doesn’t even allow you to eat 1/2 the cheese. The extra bread is $8 extra. There are no heaters, so don’t come here from June-October. They don’t give you a steak knife to cut bread or for the steak. The food comes late and the girls who work here don’t know how to be proper servers. You have to ask for everything you need and take your cutlery out of a jar on the table like a pub. I will never come back.

I visit French basket because they serve the highest quality in the area. Beautiful fresh pastries. Best eggs Benedict with the highlight being their creamy housemade hollandaise. Coffee is fantastic, I get the raspberry candy blend. Staff always working very hard. location is stunning so nice to enjoy the beach whilst having a meal. Unbeatable.
