La chechette? More like La awesome, this place is the best! The service is next level, you can tell they genuinely care about the business. Whoever was in charge of aux today was playing some absolute bangers E.G London Bridge by Fergie. 10/10 would recommend
The coconut iced latte was quite good, it tasted like a coffee bounty, if I'd known it was good, I would have taken a picture before I drank it. The lasagne, though a large portion, was rather dry, and quite disappointing. The haloumi stack was ok, for the price, it's decent value. I recommend getting something with hot chips, that's for sure, crunchy for the duration of the meal, we were pleasantly surprised by the fries.
Best eggs benny ive had in a LONG time, and the coffee was excellent too. Super friendly staff, good tunes, good times. Absolutely coming back. 5 stars all around
Sept 2023: Changing me review to a 3/5 as I was not impressed with the service tonight. Tues is their $14 Pasta night however found out tonight after ordering that Boscaiola costs extra which is not mentioned on their sign outside (only extra for seafood is mentioned). Also our two pasta dishes took 35 mins to come out. As a result of the long wait, we were quite hungry by the time our food was served. Aug 2023: 5/5 Found this cafe through Alexandria's Facebook Group. We came by tonight to try out their Tuesday Pasta night promo. Was a pleasant dinner where we ordered two different pastas - Fettucine Boscaiola and Spagetti Marinara. I was happy with the serving sizes and amount of meat/seafood ingredients. Would recommend this place as it's a neighbourhood gem.
I order omelettes from here regularly which are always great and tasty. Today what I received was terrible, over cooked no toast provided with the order and ingredients sparse and only in the centre. It seems like a different chef entirely and a very big drop in quality. The omelette is over $20 so due to this I will not be ordering again. I hope this feedback reaches you so you can hopefully address it thank you
