The tomyum seafood pasta is sensational. Lovely tae service. Great ambience. Would be even better if there was free wifi so it can become my go to regular cafe.

Had a great experience at Lab Kitchen West Ryde. The strawberry matcha latte was rich, balanced, and flavoursome without being too sweet. The lychee coffee was refreshing and enjoyable. The mushroom pasta was creamy and well seasoned without being salty. The tom yum pasta was tasty and flavourful, also not salty. Portion sizes were generous and prices were reasonable. Overall, a very satisfying visit and worth coming back again.

It’s a small, fairly plain shopping centre, but this café is a pleasant surprise. The space is pretty, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the menu feels more “fancy” than you’d expect for the location. They offer a creative mix of Korean–Mexican fusion and modern Australian dishes, along with a great drinks menu. The café is very pram- and kid-friendly, which makes it an easy spot for families. The food was fresh and tasty. I ordered the poke bowl with salmon — ok portion and enjoyable enough. Prices are a little on the higher side, but overall it’s a nice cafe.

I ordered an almond brewed chai today and unfortunately it was extremely hot. On the first sip, I burnt my tongue and throat, and my toddler also burnt his hand on the mug. I let the barista know it was too hot and asked for some ice water, but there wasn’t really any apology or concern shown, which was disappointing. We had to let the drink sit for more than 10 minutes before it was safe to drink. I’ve been here a few times before and the food and overall experience have always been good, so this was a bit disappointing today. It was especially frustrating because I’m singing tonight, and burning my throat was the last thing I needed.

Came here for breakfast. The place has an average atmosphere. Food was simple, though the scrambled eggs were great. Coffee and iced latte were okay. A decent spot if you’re not looking for anything fancy.
