It was my first time at the coffee club. The staff were great. The place was clean, there was toilets. There's a place for the kids to play outdoors. There's an outdoor seating area. So if you have noisy kids and all it's all great, just take them outside inside was nice and warm and there was plenty of seating. The staff were quick and attentive and friendly. The food was great. Yeah, its definitely a place. You could just go and have a quick lunch or make it a meeting place to go there and take the kids and across the road is the Nepean River with parks and stuff like that, so it's definitely a nice location, easy parking out the front. The street or if not , around the back
Had a lovely family outing at The Coffee Club Nepean River and it turned out to be such a relaxing experience. We ordered quite a spread — the Big Breakfast Platter, Kids Burger with chips, Smash Avocado, Long Black coffee, Mango & Coconut smoothies, and a babychino for my little one. Everything tasted really good and fresh. The coffee was spot on, and the smoothies were refreshing — perfect for the weather. We ended it on a sweet note with cheesecake and ice cream. The only small downside was that the cheesecake was a bit hard, but everything else made up for it. The highlight was definitely the ambiance — we were seated outdoors under the sun, which made it even more enjoyable. Such a peaceful setting by the river, and a great place to spend quality time with family. Overall, a really nice experience and definitely worth visiting again.
Disappointing service and lack of staff training. Only positive is the food is consistent across venues. As a frequent customer of The Coffee Club, this particular location is highly disappointing. This was my second bad experience here with completely different staff members.I ordered a large "Traditional Lemonade" from the menu, which clearly lists regular and large sizes. Instead, a waitress brought out a small, pre-bottled Schweppes. When I asked if it was the traditional lemonade and if it was the large size, she insisted it was. When I asked what the regular size looked like if this small bottle was a large, she literally replied, "Honestly, I couldn't tell you but this is the lemonade we always serve."I took the drink to the counter to double-check. The staff member at the register was quite rude but did confirm my suspicion: I was not given the traditional lemonade I ordered. When I pointed out that the floor staff did not know their own menu, she offered absolutely no apology, nor did she care to note the issue so staff could be trained. Between staff not knowing the menu and counter staff showing zero customer service or care, I will not be returning to this branch.
The food was just average, I’d rate it a 3/5. The burger and fries were decent but nothing particularly memorable in terms of flavor or presentation. The fries were crispy enough, but the seasoning was quite minimal, and the burger tasted fairly standard without any standout elements. The café itself has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, making it a nice spot to sit and relax by the river. However, the service could be improved, as the staff seemed a bit distant and not particularly friendly, which slightly affected the overall dining experience.
8.9.2025 Brunch 2 people. I would rate coffee club as an upmarket coffee shop. Staff good and polite but nothing to rate outstanding from others. Order was not correct but I did not challenge this and ate as served. I did find the meal less than warm compared to most but food was tasty. Value for money was average. Time of attendance was not busy so was quiet and good atmosphere. Overall I would rate them as average to above average on places to eat. Above most coffee shops but not competitive food or price wise with some restaurants. Overall rating good. Would go again occasionally
