Cafe located inside the Top Ryde mall offering a great range of snacks, meals & drinks. We had chili scrambled eggs & chicken Caesar salad (with extra bacon) accompanied by coffee, chai latte & mango frappe. All fresh & delicious. Location is a bit noisy but very convenient for a quick brunch, lunch or cake & coffee. Service very good too & I noticed the manager checking in with some tables to see if everyone was happy - nice touch.
Ordered the Schnitzel Toastie with Gravy Sauce to try as it was one of the newest item on the menu. I was not really impress with the new Toastie. The gravy sauce was too watery. The Schnitzel was slightly overdone and the toasties were also overdone which made some part became crunchy. Skim flat white was good. Lovely staff at the counter and he had shown patient when my daughter was ordering.
The Coffee Club has improved so much lately. Customer service is excellent, the food and coffee are amazing, and the staff seem genuinely happier. The new owner is often there in person, greeting and chatting with customers, which creates a really welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!
We ordered an avocado on toast with a poached egg. I should have taken a photo before to show I could have made better at home. The egg was hard boiled and the tomatoes uncooked. Too big to be served whole. The toast was not sour dough. Very disappointing.
We had a bit disappointing experience. Firstly, we got a wrong order, then we had to wait for very long time for our food, finally our food arrived and the owner offered a free drink, but we didn't take, so instead of the lowest rate, we gave this 3 stars in the service. For the food and drinks, everything we had, pistachio latte, dirty matcha, big breakfast, pumpkin and sweet potato soup, were all bland. We could not taste any flavours of any ingredients, let alone something should have strong taste like matcha or pistachio. The general flavour was okay, so we gave this a below average rate. Price was okay, not cheap but also not too pricey. Hopefully there are some improvements.
