Stopped by The Rusty Rabbit during my time in Sydney and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The café has a fun, quirky personality without trying too hard. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time over a good coffee and brunch. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The breakfast wrap was fresh and packed with flavour, while the pancakes struck a nice balance between indulgent and refreshing with the fruit toppings. Coffee was excellent, and I have to give credit for the playful latte art which added a nice touch to the overall experience. What stood out most was the character of the place. From the colourful décor and merchandise wall to the cosy neighbourhood vibe, it felt less like a café and more like a local institution with its own personality. If you're around Forbes Street and looking for a solid brunch spot with great coffee, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere, The Rusty Rabbit is definitely worth a visit.

Tried Rusty Rabbit Darlinghurst and loved it. We got the Feeling Rusty and Steak & Eggs. Steak = perfect. Eggs = superb. I’ve always wanted to try steak & eggs for brunch since it’s not common back home, and this was the perfect introduction. The whole meal was awesome. Coffee is decent, could use a little latte art but still tasty. Definitely coming back.

Cute neighbourhood café and brunch spot with a cozy atmosphere. The flavours were comforting and exactly what I was looking for. I’m deducting one star because the service from the red-haired waitress wasn’t very welcoming. She seemed disengaged, was on her phone, and left me waiting around 15 minutes before another staff member eventually came to take my order. Food was great, but the service could definitely be more attentive.

We went here for breakfast, good thing we had a reservation because there was a line and the waiting line was long. Since it had a lot of customers at that time, the service was kind of slow but it was understandable. We ordered the following: - Drinks (hot mocha, and latte): All good, the size of hot mocha wasn’t enough, I want more since I loved it hahaha - Pancake of the day (forgot the exact name): Nothing special, just the usual with granola and stuff. Next time we’ll try the Ricotta pancake. - Feeling Rusty?: This is sooo good, another must try! Good for 2 actually hahaha. Glad we ordered this! 🤤 Overall it was a good experience and we’ll definitely go back. 👏🏼

We had the best experience visiting The Rusty Rabbit. We enjoyed our time so much Sunday morning that we returned the following day. Both mornings we had the best service & enjoyed our scrumptious breakfast. We went to Sydney for the weekend, stayed in the cbd. The Rusty Rabbit in Darlinghurst is totally worth walking to. Lovely location, community feel. We were so fortunate to be welcomed by Jamesray on Sunday, he is wonderful, so friendly, funny & made us feel like a local. On Monday, we were also welcomed by Mitchell & Peter, they were outstanding, so friendly, felt so welcome. Once again Breakfast was superb. We would highly recommend Rusty Rabbit to friends & will definitely return when visiting Sydney again. Cheers to James Ray, Mitchell & Peter
