The chai latte here is easily one of the best I’ve had—rich, perfectly spiced, and just the right balance of sweetness. The vibe of the place is also really nice, making it a great spot to get some work done or catch up with your mates.
Very cute coffee place! Coffee tastes amazing and the woman taking my order was so incredibly nice, this made my day! :)
They AI sloppified their menu to look worse! The old menu (which someone has already kindly uploaded) was much more readable. If you’re going to include massive images in your menu that do nothing but look ugly and clutter up the layout, at least do it with photos of the FOOD YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL!!!!!! I know what your buttermilk pancakes look like so why on earth have you got garbage AI pancakes on the menu?! Come on! Look, I’ve been coming here since high school. This cafe is the reason I love broccolini so much. Alas, quality wise, it has always been inconsistent. The broccolini used to be grilled (sigh!) but it’s just blanched now :( Salmon and chilli eggs is my go to here, but I distinctly remember one time they changed the chilli eggs from including chilli flake to a chilli oil?? That legitimately almost put me off it until they changed it back eventually. Bizarre! The number of bread slices you get with anything seems to jump all over the place. The Urban Sprawl used to give you two long pieces of chorizo, but that’s been cut in half in favour of having a hash brown. Whether that’s better or not is a matter of opinion. I’ve always been fond of how they do the scrambled eggs though, and I like the pancakes and the açai bowl. The location is great, the ambiance is nice and the food is decent. But bleh, generative AI for a menu that looks worse than the old one really puts me off. Hope it isn’t indicative of where the quality of the place is going.
Local place I always love because of their great coffee, environment and food. Always my first choice for brunch near my house. Update: after few years, we came back to try. Their food and beverages were still fine, but the service was changed. Customer service quite discouraged customers. 4 of us came and ordered brunch. One of us had just finished our drink, when everyone else was still eating, the staff came and took the empty cup away. We felt like they rushed us to finish. This action was repeated few more times during our dining experience. It was impolite. We enjoyed their food, but would not like to come back.
Brightly lit venue with plenty of plants inside that really brighten the space. Stayed decently cool on a hot day. Had the Thai Steak Salad and Strawberry Lime Juice. The salad lskd the punch I love with this salad but steak was well cooked, the juice was delicious
