Everything about this place was extra good. The service was friendly and attentive, the venue was spotless and well organized. The food was delicious — I had the Firey Prawns and absolutely loved them — and the drinks were amazing too. Thank you so much, guys! We’ll see you again soon :)
Friendly and efficient service. I had the 1st scouts dish which is made up of halloumi, zucchini fritters, poached egg and a leafy mix. The fritters were crunchy on the outside and flavoursome.
Everything about this place screams quaint, humble, family owned and run vibes. The absolutely delightful meals, the coffee, the home-made rustic muffins... I just can't personally fault any of it. Even the name behind this little gem has a beautiful story. The atmosphere is perfect for solo or group adventurers - in my opinion it lends itself to the ideal backdrop for a quiet spot to focus /work from. The covered court yard, main floor, or kerb-side alfresco seating gave me a choice based on what felt nicest at the time. The service was, well, personal and charming. Food was served quickly and hot (albeit the last visit was mid afternoon). Several days on and I'm looking forward to my next visit and to sharing the experience with nearest and dearest. The entire experience was a vibe and for me it really hit all the notes!
Excellent breakfast burger. The bacon and chorizo were fried just right and the house-made salsa was the perfect complement to the chorizo. It was a little bit expensive but worth the price.
Came here after reading the reviews, so expectations were high. Immediately liked the vibe and the service. Lots of seating available even though it was saturday morning and peak period in leichhardt. My baked eggs were very tasty and the coffee was amazingly good! All in all, Wayne's Place exceeded my expectations. I'll be back to try their lunch offerings which look amazing.
