Great location in Double Bay, convenient for weekend shopping and people-watching. Friendly service. It’s a busy spot and clearly popular, but the place could do with a bit more attention to detail. The menus are quite tatty and could be refreshed. The scrambled eggs and toast were lovely, though the portion felt small compared to similar cafés. The egg and sausage muffin was tasty enough but looked rather plain, and the cheese had that processed, fast-food style feel that doesn’t do the dish justice. Coffee was fine. Overall, perfectly serviceable for a quick bite if you’re nearby, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit. A little polish and care across the small details would lift the whole experience

Great service, really good coffees and food that tastes just right ! Me and my wife came here today 08/04/2026 to grab some breakfast and something easy. Walking past 1 of the coffee shops serving only takeaway campos coffee nearby, we didn’t really want just a paper cup and go.. the cafe opposite White Rabbit was packed! And this is for 10:00am.. they had a real overcomplicated menu.. we went over to White Rabbit, and we saw the Barista was an asian gentleman (now not being racist or anything at all but usually when you get an Asian barista, the coffee absolutely slaps! 10/10). Walking in we were greeted but we werent hassled to “wait to be seated etc” nonsense. As we decided where to sit, one of the waitresses (a stunning 🤩 blonde waitress) gave me a menu and asked if we would like to start of with any drinks. Easy, to the point and no-nonsense. We decided to wait abit and she proceeded by giving us table water etc. a couple mins went by and the other beautiful red haired waitress came by, took our orders and we ordered some coffees. Coffees arrived and then we ordered our food. My wife went for the Sausage and Egg muffing and I went for the Bacon and Egg Muffin, both came with 2 hashbrowns each. Boy, when these arrived, the portion size wasn’t too bad, but it was just right! And the taste. Amazing 10/10. By the time I finished, the waitress came back? Took our plates and I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast to share, and another cappuccino. The French toast was great, and it presented really well. I would rate it a 6/10. I think just another service or a larger serving of the cream and a little less maple syrup and it would be a 10. My second cappuccino was delivered by the Barista himself. Overall experience was great, the atmosphere was chill and easy and the staff were just great!.. 3 dishes, 3 coffees, with a total being $71, wasn’t too bad. The taste and service is what makes it worth the visit, even more so with us as we traveled from Country Picton, NSW.. which was a solid 2hr trip in via car. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed dining at White Rabbit. There were many tasty sounding options on the menu and I found it hard to decide. I eventually opted for French toast ($20). It was delicious with all elements eating well together. The bread was soft, light and fluffy. There was a good amount of syrup which was not overly sweet. It was a generous portion with two pieces of toast. The dish was very well presented as well. I would recommend dining at White Rabbit and am keen to return!

I had such a great coffee at this cafe yesterday I had to come back for breakfast today. Eggs Benni with salmon on brioche toast smothered in whipped hollandaise - delicious! The coffee was just as good - really good! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Pleasant staff.

It seems like this place doesn’t really welcome new customers. I arrived before an older lady and placed my order first. However, she tried to cut the queue and was chatting very familiarly with the staff. She ordered the exact samething as I did, yet she received her food before me, while I had to wait an additional 5 minutes after she was served. The chef even came out from the kitchen to personally hand her the dish. I understand that it’s great to have a friendly and warm relationship with regular customers, but there should still be a level of professionalism when managing orders. The queue should be handled fairly and equally for all customers. Unfortunately, I did not see that level of professionalism from the staff at this place.
