Great find in Cabra. The service was super friendly, providing a spare bowl with scissors when they saw my 8yo sharing a dish. I didn't have to ask! They just knew. Great for families! The crispy chicken with garlic rice was delicious and accompanied by a salivating chilli sauce and genuine bone broth. The housemade beef noodle soup was comforting and deliciously full of flavour. It gave with beautifully wide noodles which were the perfect vehicle for the broth. Each table was thoughtfully topped up with yummy condiments e.g. fish sauce, pickled green chilli's, soy sauce, Vinegar etc. Will need to visit again!
Frequented this place as a kid, had to come back π Had the fried intestines and a hearty bowl of soup. Itβs a busy spot with that run-down feel but itβs a classic for the locals in Cabra! Both dishes had a generous portion size and flavour wise was pretty good. The condiments provided on the table helped to balance it to your liking π The soup that came with the rice was delicious/10. Fall off the bone succulent meat in that simple bone broth. YUM. I felt that the noodle dish lacked a bit of flavour on its own but overall, i still demolished it π A bit on the pricey side for cambo food in cabra. Parking can be a struggle but not impossible! Will be back again :)
Chewy glass noodles in a delicious hot umami broth. Definitely ask for a side of bone broth for an extra dollar or two because the soup bases are different!
AMAZING FOOD, always a definite MUST when we come up to Sydney. I love how it taste so homely. AUTHENTIC, YUMMY, GREAT PRICE π Food comes out so quickly too, absolutely recommend anyone who is interested to try. I particularly love the Phnom Penh Noodles & Fried Intestine π― Char Kuay is amazing too if you can get them!
The fried intestine was excellent, and the sauce mixed into the dry noodles was packed with flavor If youβre looking for authentic Cambodian food, this is the spot to check out
