Cokco chicken Brightly lit contemporary korean restaurant. BEST soy garlic flavour chicken i have ever tasted. Just a slight sweetness, good amount of soy and garlic. This chicken itself is so tender and might be some of the JUICIEST fried chicken I have ever eaten, while still preserving some crunch in the batter. Spicy fried chicken rose pasta - sooooo good. Well seasoned, plentiful chicken pieces which are juicy and tender, adequate (mild) spice level - creamy sauce offsets the spice a bit, al dente pasta. Flavourful seasoned sauce. Highlight of my meal and seems to be a hit according to other people. Keen to try the cream version next time. Kimchi stew was pretty large, I think all these dishes are intended to be shared. Steamed egg - again, large serving, soft. Can’t go wrong with steamed egg. Goes well with spicy sauces and soups in my opinion. Service - very friendly and fast, the atmosphere including the tables are kept clean and the dishes and utensils look sparkling clean as well - something not all places get right. The side dishes are interesting - they do the normal kimchi, coleslaw with mayo, sweet pickled radish, but they also do this dish with cut thin potato almost like the french fries snack. The fish cake side dish is also kinda like a dried version which is different.

I recently visited Cokco in Lidcombe and had a great experience. We ordered several dishes to try, and honestly, everything tasted really good. 🍟 Chips with cheese – Crispy fries topped with fragrant, creamy cheese. Not greasy at all. 🍗 Fried chicken with cheese – The chicken was very juicy on the inside with a crispy coating, and the cheese was rich and flavorful. 🐙 Octopus pancake – Super crispy pancake with generous octopus pieces, very satisfying. 🍜 Spicy chicken udon – Chewy udon noodles with well-balanced spicy sauce, full of flavor. 🍲 Army hotpot – A hearty hotpot with lots of toppings and a tasty broth, perfect for sharing. ✨ Ambience: The restaurant is spacious, bright, and airy, making it comfortable to dine in. 👉 Overall: Delicious food with well-balanced flavors across all dishes. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the Lidcombe area. I’d happily come back again!

I recently visited a restaurant with my husband. We were a party of two, and when we sat down, I ordered a kimchi soup, some rice, and a beer. My husband wasn’t very hungry, so he said he’d see if he wanted to order more after having a drink. However, we were told by the staff that we had to spend a minimum of $30. My meal was $25, and even with the beer (which was $9), we thought we met it. But they insisted that we had to order more anyway. It was really frustrating because we didn’t know how much more we might spend, and we didn’t expect this strict rule. In fact, it felt like if you came alone, you couldn’t even dine there unless you met that minimum. So, while the food might be decent, the inflexible policy really put a damper on the experience.
